Do you watch anime that is dubbed in languages that are neither in Japanese or your native language (2nd language if Japanese is your first) ? Why or why not?

As far as dubs go I only watch English dubs, I did try to watch Elfen Lied in it's German dub with English subtitles but I gave up since I had already seen it both in Japanese and in English. I'm also told that Spanish dubs are very good but one would have to also speak Spanish to comment on it's quality, same goes for any voice acting in a show, If you can't understand it w/o subtitles then you have no place praising or critiquing it.

Yeah, I actually do. For two reasons: I am Hispanic so my second language is obviously Spanish, but the thing is, I'm not very fluent with it (sad I know ) and so I sometimes watch anime that are dubbed in Spanish so I can listen to the Spanish language and learn a little myself for the benefits of me and my family. And reason number 2: I'm the type of person who always tries to get my friends and family members to watch what I like and my usual victim is my mother but the only way she can watch anime is if it's dubbed in Spanish (since she doesnt understand English as much as she does Spanish) So long story short, yes. Spanish dubbed.

Does Japanese without any subs count if Japanese isn't my first language? If so, then yes...

I have also watched anime from European countries that is not my first language including French, Dutch, Polish and Hungarian, all with English subtitles. My mother is Hungarian but sadly I know very little though I did recognize a few words. But this anime wasn't dubbed, it was made in those countries using their language so it probably doesn't count but it is non-English, non-Japanese language anime so perhaps it is included in what you were asking.

Well, I'm a native English speaker, and I saw part of the German dub of Azumanga Daioh, and I gotta say, Yukari's German VA sounds pretty hot.

Anime dubb in other languages ?
Do I watch anime dubb , the answer is yes is its in english . I have seen it in tagalog but I could not stand it ..lol so I didnt watch it.

I watched animation movie in french with english subtitles and I liked it. I have seen some animated movie in the spanish channel but not anime. I have seen some in chinese and I am fine with that since I am use to watching chinese shows.

But mainly just watch anime in japanese but buy the bluray with english dubb becuase my other half prefers it that way.
