You should add a commenting function to manga per chapter, like how it's possible to comment on every separate anime episode.

Your manga reader is great, by the way. The full-screen option and the leftwards page-turning is perfect.

Recent, very happy subscriber.

Though I'd love a Kindle Fire app, since phone reading isn't nearly as nice.

Not all of the manga on site appears to available in the app? The toe new adult Anno series, for example? And yes I am a manga premium member and yes my account is set to show adult anime.

Don't know if crunchyroll people are still reading this thread, but I'll put this here anyway.

It's hard to start any new manga series even though I have an anime membership because it needs an all access membership. Why not use the anime model, where old chapters are free for all, but the new ones come first to the premium people and in a week to everyone else.
This way, I can at least start reading a manga series to decide if I like it and to see if it's worth paying for. With the model you have going on now, it's almost impossible for me to check and see if these series are something I would like.

Are you on iOS by any chance? My understanding is the Apple's rules on adult material work a bit differently for manga than for anime (strange, but apparently true).

They've blocked individual comics on Comixology but that's for their in-app purchases. If you purchase from the Comixology website you can then download the purchase into the iOS app - a bit like the mature content on the video side of Crunchyroll I guess. I haven't surveyed the manga available on the app yet but I'd be very upset if I'd paid all of this only to have to read it on a clunky laptop screen.

There should be a way to add the manga you like to a queue.

For Manga-only subscribers, I'd like to suggest that the Manga2.5 motion comics are available to either anime or manga subscribers on an ad-free premium basis. I know that Happinet only has a few of them made, but I think its a natural cross-over.

Can you sideload onto the Fire, if you set it to allow third party apps? Version 1.4.3 of the Manga app is up on the 1mobile app store, which is easier to work with for sideloading than the GooglePlay store.

Or, if Favorites has to be used as a queue-substitute, a favorites display that takes up less space and can be re-arranged.

I wish you would store the image pages as png instead of jpg or gif. The artifacts are really ugly. The slight increase in size wouldn't make a difference considering your 1080p episodes are 0.5 GB which is more than your entire manga catalogue as of now.

I really enjoy the app but I wish there was an easy way to save what page/chapter you've read up to (or the last chapter you've read). It's pretty easy to do with videos right now but I can't seem to find a way to do it for the manga, either online or on my android tablet.

I like CrunchyManga the way it is currently and am glad to hear a notification system is being worked on. Though if we're talking about catalogue expansion I think it'd be awesome to make negotiations with Kadokawa (Kagerou Days the manga version of Mekaku City Actors, Black Bullet) and Houbunsha (Yumekui Merry, Is this order a rabbit.) concerning digital distribution of their titles, though I imagine that may vary since Kadokawa has Comic Walker (though I'm not sure how that'll be taken in the future).

Some of the manga is being locked to free members as soon as they're released, like Silver Nina, Star Light Woman and Okitenemuru this week. I'm also not sure what is up with Arslan. If you miss a week or miss a chapter, it's pretty frustrating since you can't simply catch up.

'Domestic na Kanojo'.

This is a new series from Kei Sasuga, the author of 'GE: Good Ending'. It'll be running in Weekly Shounen Magazine ( Kodansha ), which Crunchyroll is already simul-publishing a number of series from. Hope you pick it up, Sasuga is a great artist and 'Good Ending' was really good.

Do free members only have access to the latest manga chapters for each title? I'm not having much luck here!

The simulpub titles seem to work, as I tried the most recent chapter of Fairy Tail (not a clue what's going on but, eh, it was on the top row..). For first impressions, having two pages side-by-side makes it easy to following the panels from one to the next. (This is, of course, once I realised there was a fullscreen mode. )

Also, would taking the free trial/subscribing give me access to all the manga, or are some of them region-specific as with anime?
