Min moves to Japan following his professor father. One day at a local shrine, he meets a beautiful Japanese girl with innocent eyes. Her name is Nanae, and she is an aspiring painter. Min falls for her at first sight, and soon learns that Nanae attends the same school to which Min has just transferred. They become friends, and despite the culture and language barriers it is an intense friendship. When his grandmother suddenly falls ill, Min hastily returns to Korea but cannot get in touch with Nanae beforehand. After his grandmother regains her health, he hurries back to Japan to reunite with Nanae, but she is nowhere to be found. Had his true feelings for Nanae not been apparent to her? Why has Nanae disappeared without a word?

Amazing movie! I waited for so long and as soon as I finished it, the wait was worth it. It had a few flaws that could have been readjusted, but other than that, Lee Jun Ki's acting has improved very much! He has become more natural in front of the camera and hopefully, we'll see more dramas and movies of him, especially. Miyazaki Aoi's acting was superb as always expected of her. The storyline was great and it was nice and fluid throughout the film. The ending was great 'cause I'm pretty sure everyone forgot about the porcelain plate (at least I did ). The mix of the two culture was like two worlds coming together and it was a great thing to see the difference (if any).

Virgin Snow is a simple, cute and a twist on your typical high school and beyond romance. A must watch regardless if you like either of the actors or not. This is definitely at the top of your list if you are considering to buy a Japanese movie in DVD (hopefully w/ subs) because I know it is on mine.

Beautiful story about pure and innocent love! Jun-Ki was just so adorable in it! He never stops to amaze me! It has become of favorite Korean/Japanese film!!! <3

Jun Ki and Aoi had an air of innocence between them, they seemed a perfect match to each other, no offense, personal views kekeke...............I prefered "Tada kimi wo aishiteru" actually but "Virgin Snow" was pure and simple and I like that true love will pull any language barriers......and when they said "yakusoku" to each other and stamped gently with their palms, very romantic......^^.....

I honestly expected more.. Not with the actors [Lee Jun Ki was amazing like always]
But i was expecting more with the storyline. >.<
The ending was cute, but the plot wasn't enough for me.
I enjoyed it though. It was cute.
My favorite thing out of the whole movie... was the pinkie promise thingy. First pinkie, stamp, something, then copy.

simple plot but heart warming,,, plus the beautiful scenery added up to became a good movie...

also that what you call entertainment for me... you don't have to think deeply to understand the story, you enjoy the CINEMATOGRAPHY and musical scoring and you'll happy with the ending.. no mysteries to bug youre mind in the end...
few brain cell were disturbed while watching it and felt relaxed.... that's entertainment!!!
