Even after Dragon Ball Evolution and The Last Air Bender were made, I still would be willing to watch American live action films, I'm not sure which ones, but I think it would be interesting. But the thought of it is scary.
They're already making an American live action Death Note (My favorite Anime/Manga) And I can honestly say, I almost cried. Not from happiness, but from sheer terror and anger. I feel there will be no way this will be pulled off.

I'm pretty sure that Gatchaman would be as awesome or even better than The Avengers or X-Men, I mean, come on, Hollywood is good for action films, and super heroes films are all about action. Other than that genre, yeah, I'm pretty sure Holllywood would ruin everything.

If I remember right, G-Saviour was considered mediocre.

I hope never to see any Hollywood or other adaptations of any anime. Anime is good enough as it is, and that's precisely why I watch it: because it's different than Hollywood, etc.

I would like to see a Black Lagoon adaption would probably be very good considering that's what hollywood does.

Other include:

Gantz
Full Metal Alchemist
Grave of the Fireflies
Hellsing
Spice and Wolf
Future Diary
Attack on Titan

Edit (thought of some more)
Baccano!

Hollywood can suck it. I want people who are fan of the anime series to be the ones making the live action movie. Hollywood aren't even fans of any the anime they would just ruin the anime reputation.

I don't watch Live Action stuff because it's never as good as 2D animation in my opinion.
I don't wann see the stuff I love be made into an inferior form.
There is only so much you can do with Live action, however with Animation the possibilities are endless..
Although if Hollywood put a bunch of money into an Anime movie then thats a different story.

We can call a huge group of professional cosplaying anime fans with bits of acting skills.

I believe that some thriller type seinen animes could work, and that nothing else could, because Hollywood thrillers thrive on similar suspense that animes do.

It would have to be something you could change a fair bit or fit Hollywood's type of film making from the beginning. Maybe something like Black Lagoon directed by a Quentin Tarantino type, or a Gundam or Macross movie, though those would likely require multiple parts. G-Saviour doesn't count, that was made by some Canadian film makers no one had heard of.

Technically, it works both ways. Given the right people working on it, a live action work can have possibilities that are endless. Even with low budget films.

I think a Ghost In The Shell live action would be pretty neat. Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom is also another one that would work well.
