NBA ALL-STAR 2008

Im rooting for the East to win the All Star game. As a celtics fan ofcourse
. The west as a conference is stronger than the east but as individual players i dont see why the west should dominate or have an advantage against the east. I was a little dissapointed with some of the starters that were chosen by the fans but everyone is entitle to chose who they like. Though I must say I do agree coaches or experts should pick who should play as starters (since they already chose reserves). But like I was saying I think the East has a good chance at winning the game. Dwight Howard and Yao Ming both rebound a lot and score points so they cancel themselves out for the Center Position. For forwards you have Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett and they can both score and play good defense so I think they have good matchup. Then you have Carmelo Anthony and Lebron two of the most talented players in the league. They can both score but Lebron has edge in all around game. Then at gurads Kobe Bryant vs Dwayne Wade will also be fun matchup to see. Kobe probably has all around better game though they can both take over games. That leaves us with Allen Iverson and Jason Kidd at point guard position. Edge is definitely Kidds for all around game but AI can give you more scoring if you need it. Reserves are yet to be announced but nba fans probably have some ideas of who it could be. East- Paul Pierce, Caron Butler, Chauncy Billups, Ray Allen, Chris Bosh, etc West- Chris Paul, Marcus Camby, Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Tony Parker, etc |

I would say West because we have the Lakers, Suns, Mavericks, Spurs, and Nuggets. The East has the Celtics, Cavaliers, Pistons, and Nets. Right now the Heat aren't doing very well, and New York has never been good these past years. Who knows what will happen? The East now has the so-called "Superman" lol. Dwight Howard(: his dunks were hilarious. Shaq is now on the West side, and Kobe is still on the West. C'mon. What 7-footer can shoot 3-pointers? Only Dirk Nowitzki. Kevin Garnett is kind of close though. We have 2 7-footers (Yao and Dirk) while the East only have the 6-footers. Still, who knows. The game is tomorrow.
