Massive stutter and lag issues.

So, once again Crunchyroll on PS3 is no longer working for me.

Last night, wanting to watch Outbreak Company on my PS3 and it wouldn't even play 30 seconds of the show before the stuttering got so bad it wouldn't play any longer and actually froze my PS3 to the point of needing a hard-reboot.

This also happens when I try to watch literally anything. It's so bad, that I can no longer use the service and have cancelled my account that I use for watching. For what it's worth, Hulu, Netflix, and the other video apps I use on the PS3 run amazingly well with zero issues.


Pausing the show and leaving the PS3 alone for 30 minutes results in an uninterrupted viewing session of 8-10 minutes before it starts stuttering, looping, video freezing, or audio freezing and becomes unwatchable.


What should I be doing to stop this?? Or is this an APP issue?

(Already replaced Router, have fastest consumer internet comcast offers, etc)


At this point, I can no longer watch anything on CR on PS3,

I even experience lag on my Tablet and Laptop.


Fix this, and I'll continue to give you folks money.

Your account has not had Premium since April.
I'm not sure how you were testing, but I do not see any activity recently.

I would like to make a statement that I am having major lag issues as well through my computer. I have a brand-new laptop and I can watch anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes before, suddenly, nothing buffers anymore. I can't do anything to make it continue. It's getting very, very frustrating.

I have been having the same issues as stated by the first poster. I have restarted the ps3 about 5 times and every time I try to watch Log Horizon It just keeps looping back to my selection screen. Nothing pops up. It has been this way for a few weeks, It has been so bad today my wife and I can not watch anything.

I'm having the same issue as the first poster, except you can replace every instance of "PS3" with "PS4". My connection is wired and my PC has no issues streaming the same content over the same connection, and even my tablet using wireless plays back videos flawlessly. The Netflix app on my PS4 plays videos fine as well, it's just CR that's having issues. Any idea why?

Seriously though, the PS3 app is completely useless. It won't play a show the entire way through, and as of late streaming on my beast of a gaming pc or brand new Macbook Pro is a laggy/stuttery mess.

I have the highest internet speed I can get right now, and everything else I use on any platform (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon instant, etc) works like a dream.


I use an alternate account for streaming because it's my wife's and we only pay for a single account.
