I am majoring in Computer Science because I love computers and anything having to do with programming. It is so fun to code software and the "floorplan" for mods or games. Although I mostly use D/C++/C#, not very good at anything else. ;_;

I major in accounting because I dislike it the least among other majors, and because I'm pretty decent at it

Thinking to major in business management as well so I can get a better job, but I don't know if my brain can handle it

Radiology. Because I like to help people who are injured but I have a neural disorder called essential tremor which doesn't permit me to do things like surgery or anything that requires finely tuned fingers, hands, and arm movements... So this was recommended to me by my advisor while goin down the medical pathways, besides there's a lot of interesting medical equipment out there to learn. Getting xray, ekg, ultrasound, MRI, CT scan equipment certifications and then getting a job anywhere.

I'm majoring in journalism, but not because I think that the media industry has dumbed itself down to pointless banter wrought with sexual innuendo and topped with fluff pieces sprinkled with the vomit of a thousand unicorns drinking Kona coffee. Instead, I want a steady job that employs my just enough to get by writing skills, while I save mulling over a neutron star's worth of crumpled paper and wasted graphite for a glass desk dulled by coffee stains for home.

I'm a second year in Animation. I haven't actually started any ani classes yet though, and my drawing abilities are limited in certain areas...
I'm not really good at much else, and I can't really see myself in many careers. I guess it boils down to "I just really wanted to try animating,"

I'm a Performance Music major。
Chosen because, well why do musicians choose music。

It speaks to us。
I chose it when I turned 3 and stuck to it。
Hehe。。

I am a first year in Law.
I took this course because I've been pretty much in love with Law since I was a kid..
Though there is some struggle for me to get the gist of it..
But I'll manage..

I'm year 13 at high school and next year I'm intending to study first year biomedical science at uni - I'm thinking of getting into the med field - will be tough but willing to do the hard yards - does anyone else do this? advantages/dis?

I finished my bachelor's degree in English Literature not too long ago. I was a nonstop reader when I was smaller, and fiction has always been my passion. I considered going in for science, as my parents and teachers wanted me to, but I find it too rigid and formulaic - too many calculations, not enough brainstorming. Lit gave me the opportunity to really flex my brain and work with ideas, which are my stock in trade. As someone who's intensely interested in structure, but would rather mess with that structure in creative ways than follow it (and as a diehard fiction fanatic), lit was what I was meant to do.

I tried several minors. Psychology was my initial plan, but I drifted away from it over time because, well, science. As interesting as the material was, I got bored doing lab sessions and conducting research. I tried philosophy next, and had a lot of fun with it. I probably would have gone all the way through university with a philosophy minor, if my dabbler's spirit hadn't decided to take an intro to linguistics course on a whim. Linguistics really struck a chord with me, because as a lit student and reader, I was especially focused on writing style, connotations, and creative use of diction. Studying the technical aspects of language itself, primarily the english language, helped me to organize my own ideas on narrative style and further develop my knowledge of english itself: particularly relevant, since my career goal is to be an editor. I ended up taking two and a half years more than I should have, jumping around between minors and taking random electives as I did, but in the end I found the combination that suited me perfectly.

Of course, jobs are difficult to come by...

I'm studying pharmacy. Always wanted to do something in healthcare. Ideally I'd like to be a hospital pharmacist.
