Just entered uni this year. Majoring in History, specializing in Public History, with a minor in Business Administration. I'd like to work in a museum. Hopefully I can go to grad school for Museum Studies, but that's still a ways away.

Computer Science, because being able to create my own stuff through coding is very fun and satisfying. Also I'm just a fan of technology and computers so naturally this is where I ended up going

got an associates in science, took some upper division courses for psychology then stopped because it got expensive and there are really no jobs out there for that major.

got certificate for electrical technology, getting another certification in solar intro level one.

hopefully this summer I get into the NABCEP prep course for solar entry level, then go on from there. not really in a hurry since I have a job and I do love electronics, debating if I want to pursue it or get into permitting process...

Studying Economics. After that, I'll go back to the fleet for a few years before forcing myself to go to law school or to get an MBA. After that, it's probably the Admiralty for me.

I'm almost in a similar field.

I just have once semester left, but I will be getting my B.S in Cell and Developmental Biology along with a minor in Chemistry. I plan on applying to be forensic specialist with the police analyzing DNA and other biological substances. I really hope I get in!

Bachelors in Biology. I want to be a surgeon and a molecular biological illustrator. Med school is a tough competition, and hopefully I will get in, no matter how long it will take me. I plan to get a laboratory job which will give me a better chance of getting into med school.

Since i'm slow in school I am still slowly finishing it up, after like 5 years i'm about 2/3 of the way done with the "2" year course. XD (finances are also a problem lol...)

Anyway when I am actually IN school I take classes majoring in Computer Science. Programming, Game Design, Networking, stuff like that.

Majoring in Information Systems with a minor in Computer Engineering.

As a Freshman, I just wanted to major in Computer Engineering. When I kept taking more classes, I didn't like the fact of not being able to work with other people :/. So, I changed it to a minor and now I'm an IS.
I enjoy working in teams and I'm always curious about how the business's process operates and their use of a system.
I'm almost finish, my last term is Fall '14!!

When I first started college I was 15. I was interested in Game Development/Computer Science at first but a programming class (with perhaps the most unenthusiastic teacher I'd ever met) sorta killed that. Yet all the while I had been watching a lot of science shows (sorta always have)...

So I decided to switch to a BioEngineering (Biomedical Engineering) Major in the process of going full-time at the local University (age 16). After finally reaching the point of taking Engineering Mechanics (~3 years, taken in Spring semester of 3rd year), I realized I really disliked the the whole "Engineering" aspect of BioEngineering...
So I dropped the class before insanity ensued and switched to a Biology Major! And by the end of that semester I'd have fulfilled a Math Minor, so I picked that up too.
(I probably should have noticed BioEngineering wasn't gonna work by how much I despised Physics...)

Anyway, I've always had the same goal in mind at every point, and that's to get a degree in Neuroscience, which is normally a graduate level focus/major. The College I'm applying to has an Undergrad NeuroBio Major, so I'm totally excited for that.
Basically, if it's not out by the time I'm done with all my studies, I'll hopefully help invent a Nervgear/similar console, or maybe improve an existing one. Yet even more likely I'll go into the other section of studies on the brain, which could be considered a way to grant immortality - has a few ethical bumps though. I've sorta always aimed for this, I should probably blame sitting with my older brother when he was watching .hack, but also my crippling fear of death, on this path.. Essentially, I know where I want to be going, and I have ideas on how to do things, but how I get there is variable..
But I will get there.

Yet now I'm taking a break from classes to sort out personal issues and attempting to transfer to a different college.
I'm also probably one of the few people who actually thought Organic Chemistry 1&2 was fun, I just had it during an emotionally unstable time - which lead to reduced studying, so I might even switch to Chemistry later? Dual-Major, maybe?

I also told myself I'd keep it brief, but I failed.

And as a side note for those not yet in college (I suppose those in already too), always being open to change is important, especially with your major. Never feel tied to one because you chose it - they can always be changed. It's also a bad idea to go for something just because it's good money, since then you'll just make yourself unhappy if you end up not enjoying it. I'd probably recommend just being undecided until you try out a few classes in varying topics. Some Colleges/Universities have required Gen Eds which are good for getting a good intro into different majors/paths.

I graduated with a physics degree last year. Little interest in persuing grad school right at the moment, but I do intend to go for my doctorate some day. I'm rereading textbooks though, which is pretty entertaining. Things are a lot easier the second time around, and a lot more elegant.
