Chromecast is nice and all, but what I want is that 1080p stream that's locked behind a Flash player to be available. Everything has this softness that I associate with 720p or less scaled up to 1080p, and that simply isn't acceptable with what's available. What would be great is if they gave us the same options for resolution that they do in the Flash player, but I doubt anyone is listening, even after I rate the app 1 star for effort.

So, is there still no HD on the android app or is it just me? They advertise HD in their app description but I tried multiple shows and none of them were even 720p.

The app description states that you can enjoy HD streams through the website, not the app.

App currently streams in 360p.

Still no HD on Android app ?

So even if I pay for Premium version, I'll still have 360p ?

Too bad, since latest smartphones/tablets all have HD screens...

So still nothing about HD on Android? It's literally required if you want me to subscribe now. If I'm getting 360p whether I subscribe or not, then obviously I'm going to use the free version.

Please add categories on the anime pages just like in iOS (i.e. East Blue, Alabasta, Sky Island, etc.)

Looks like Android is the red-headed stepchild of Cr support.
Given what seems to be possible with the locked-down environments of Xbox, iOS and such, the cruddy playback quality on Android is an insult. You have a choice of just about any codec supported off-the-shelf and yet seem to have gone with "1980s VHS player with dodgy tracking control".

Couple that with the sometimes interminable wait for new releases to be available on Android and the feeling that someone really doesn't give a shit becomes overwhelming....

Android has a sibling that's ignored also , Samsung products . I have both and if I want HD it's either my Xbox 360 in only 720p or 1080p on my HTPC (when it isn't acting stupid) ...
