SailorBee here! With a burning question...

DO YOU LIKE DO RA MA ~ ? Japanese Drama to be exact ~ !

We would like to know how interested our users are in J-Drama! We know we have many fans of K-Drama, but how about live action Japanese content?

What are some of your favorites?

Why do you watch J-Drama? For the story? The actors?
Or because they relate to your favorite anime or manga in some way?

Let us know! We're listening ~~~~ ♫

I'm not a fan per se, but I would like to see more of it and check it out. In that regard, ones which relate to the anime, manga, and video games which make it Stateside would be nice to see to start exploring.

I'm not a fan either, but I do like to watch some japanese drama and films. I'd love if Crunchyroll streamed more doramas for Latin America!

One friend in Japan streamed to me Usagi Drop, not the anime but the live action film! It was lovely! *_*

Yea! My Little Nightmare was good, but I also just watched Josee, the Tiger, and the Fishes and it was really good. We need more live action Japanese series' and movies on CR, for sure.

I feel J-drama is just as good as anime! I really liked one called Kuro Taiyou or Black Sun.

I prefer Jdrama over Kdrama for some reason. It's shorter and more refreshing TBH. Korean drama are too dramtic for me that it seems so unreal, and the "love drama" in them drive me nuts.

I love ROMCOM Jdrama specifically.

I'm a fan. Producing Nobuta, Beautiful LIfe, Gokusen were all great J-dramas. I was last checking out Misaki Number One. I saw Beautiful LIfe when it was on TV back in college, but yes, it would be cool to have a place to watch these sappy, japanese soap operas.

Live action shows, Trick, The Gokusen, Bebop Highschool, and the like were great. If those qualify as Jdrama, please add Jdrama.

I enjoyed Japanese Drama in the past. I've watch a few K-Dramas and did not like any of them.

Yes. Nodame Cantabile for example. I'd really like more live action comedy and drama on Crunchy Roll.

Not necessarily linked to manga or anime but that always helps.

I would love to see more J-Dramas on here! I haven't seen too much, but Orange Days, Kekkon Dekinai Otoko, and Dragon Zakura are really good. I usually watch for a change of pace from anime, but still get those Japanese feels.

I would love to see more J-Drama on CR. I've been avoiding the K-Dramas because I'm trying to learn Japanese and the Korean messes with my head in that regard.

I prefer them over k dramas actually. I haven't been watching them lately but that's because I can't really get them in a manner I agree with so. The ones I really enjoyed were of course hana yori dango, maou, tumbling, my girl, mop girl, Tokyo dogs, and last friends.

The first J-Drama I ever watched was Great Teacher Onizuka and I binged watch it entirely back when I was in Middle School. It got me to watch the anime and piqued my interest in the Japanese language. I absolutely love that series, it's special and the movie! I'd love to see some other J-Dramas with good humor on Crunchyroll ^_^
