First comment ever on the forum, just to express my enthusiasm. The drama you are currently airing, "Hakuba no Ojisama", is outstanding -- enthralling, thoughtful and altogether pleasant! While not all Japanese dramas would rate so high, Japanese television tends to be more experienced, sophisticated and subtle than its Korean counterpart. So, thumbs up!

I'm not a fan quite honestly. It needs to be more heavy marketed through episode reviews/screencaps and I just don't think there's any good sites out there that provide that kind of coverage like the anime world has (random curiosity... ect).

I like Japanese dramas more than Korean dramas. I'd be an all-access member if the Japanese dramas increased (I especially LOVE romance dramas). If you add more japanese dramas (especially romance) I will give you more of my money :3.

I love j-drama..the last time i've watched was Love Revolution. Watching j-drama was my first introduction to the everthing Japanese. I love j-drama mainly because of some of the storyline that are slightly different than k-drama. But it's hard to watch or even purchase a j-drama dvd because in my country most kids are obsessed with korean wave. Please do stream j-drama here. It would be great to watch j-drama again after so many years.

Uh oh, are u guys thinking of getting rid of them (if there's not enough interest)?

Honestly, I haven't watched a drama in a long time. Last one I saw I think was Gokusen only because I loved the anime and manga. My favorite J-drama w/out a doubt is GTO (the old one). Everybody needs to watch this! Seriously!!!

But yeah, the only ones I would be interested in watching in the future are ones that relate to one of my favorite animes/mangas.

I was shocked crunchy roll only had Korean from the start. Korean dramas are not bad but Japanese are so much better. Asking if people like Japanese dramas this late is like trying the store brand product then asking people if they like the better name brand product. Why won't Japanese anime fans like Japanese dramas better? Lol

Some of the best:
Densha Otoko(not the movie!)
Orange days
Summer Snow
GTO
Beautiful Life

There was another about strict teacher and a little girl I forgot about but it was good.

I actually like J-dramas as I'm currently watching Hakuba no Ojisama. I've seen a few others that came on Crunchyroll but that's about it. I like Akumu-chan and Secret Agent Erika

my first was "my little nightmare", about the teacher who meets a girl that can predict the future through her nightmares. It was intense, and a bit more emotional than I thought it was going to be.

definitely would like more of where that came from

I would love to see more J-Drama available in the UK!
Must watch some more of Random Hero. I managed to watch a few episodes of Secret Agent Erika when it was available. Thinking of checking out Hakuba no Ōjisama next.
I'd be very interested in being able to check out more live action Japanese content. Are there plans for more to be available?

Yay! I would love to see more J-Drama on crunchy roll!

I would love to watch Zettai Kareshi, Nodame Cantabile, Trick, Gegege no Nyobo and The Wallflower drama. However they wouldn't need to be anime or manga related for me to watch them. I would love to see any of the current running drama too.

Ohh my hopes are getting high, please add some of these or any J-Drama. I definitely would sign up for the all access pass if that happens!

More Japanese Dramas are based on anime too! Makes this happen no thinking about! Like asking people if they want free money.

Yes! japanese dramas are what got me into Asian dramas to begin with! Hana yori dango, onizuka, gokusen, hanakimi, liar game, spec, nobuta wo produce, 1 litre of tears, tumbling!!, and soooo many others I can't recall the names to. But they've varied in genre from romance, school life, drama, slice of life, comedy, mystery, horror, etc. I haven't watched too many of the latest since the streaming channels I watch have mostly Korean and Taiwanese...but I think each country has their own take on their shows and Japanese dorama are really great if you give them the chance, especially the classics.
