Sliding the door open, Surge steadily made his way to his desk at the far upper left of the classroom right next to the window. The entire trip from the gym he was going at turtle's pace, no particular worry to rush in feet skidding. After all, slow and stead wins the race, "Math first as always..." he let out a sigh. Math was one of his weaker subjects even though he is decently passing the course. However, his perception of it was interpreted as a necessity to be able to function in the real world as business and marketing pretty much own this economy. As the teacher came in he flipped out a pencil and notebook.

After his long run at the track, he had gotten to the school rather early upon his twin's quiet insistence, Liev made his way to his first period. Math. The imposing teen shuffled into the room with a roll of his icy blue eyes and found a seat in the back, dreading the day ahead. He glanced in the other boy's direction as some form of acknowledgment. He had no classes with Milek. Who would protect his brother from the boundless pricks that schools always seemed to produce? He conveniently forgot that his brother had taken the same self defense classes he had when they were younger. Liev sighed and ran a hand through his dark chocolate hair and laid his head on his desk. Math. It sucked.

Throughout most of the lecture many people either stared blankly at the chalkboard or fell flat on their desks. For Surge though, he wrote side notes, foot notes, and even sticky notes on every nook n' cranny the pages of his notebook could hold. Even after writing up a storm it seemed like he was struggling to get the material as he kept twirling his pencil slowly as a sign of confusion. By the end of class he came up to the teacher's desk to show what he had written and to see if it was dead on target or had nothing to do with the subject whatsoever. When the bell rang off Surge stuffed his notebook back into what looked like a large, tan, tubular bag capable of hauling at least 70 lbs of gear. What was even more peculiar was that he was wearing a long tan coat over his school uniform.

More student piled into the room, noisily taking up seats and giving Liev a headache. The droning sound of the teacher's voice echoed in his ears, and although he tried to pay attention and take notes, his mind wandered to his brother. Liev wondered if Milek had found his first class, and if he was okay. His eyes roamed the classroom, and stopped on the single student that looked like he was actually trying. Liev gave the boy a perplexed stare. His headache turned to a migraine. 'Ow...' He rubbed his head in an effort to make it stop.

When the bell rang, Liev moved like a sloth in gathering his things and crept out the door. He eyed the huge bag the other was carrying with a raised brow. "What the hell is in there?"

Surge stood up, flung the bag over his back, and made for the doorway. The pace he was walking at was slower than the average eager-to-get-out student, as he passed the other student he was stopped by a question that he typically gets from alot of people, "Oh this? This is just all my camping gear I haul around. I don't have a set home so I make one wherever I stop by~" He kicked the bottom of the bag, the hard clank and lack of knockback form the kick spoke volumes of how heavy it was, "Was there anything else you needed from me?"

Did the guy not know that each student had assigned dorms in which they could stay? "Oh. Must be... fun?" He gave the other a quick smile, confused as to why he would say he had no set home when there were dorms provided. Granted, the dorms weren't "home" exactly, but it was better than sleeping outside. In his own opinion, at least. "Ah... no. Just curious, was all," Liev pulled out his phone to find no new messages. That was never good. Milek always texted him to let him know he was all right. He needed to find his brother. "Gotta go. Good luck camping." Nodding his farewell to the other, Liev turned to search out his twin while he had time between classes.

Surge started whistling a small tune to himself while he walked downstairs, little did anyone know that he actually did had a dorm room. A dorm room that he barely uses. Many people would call that weird, others; insane. For him though, he just sees it as something new and different.

Using up the 10 minutes between each class was fruitless. Liev hadn't found his brother. He'd texted, called, asked around, but no one had seen him. Like he was hard to miss! With a heavy sigh, and a more coma-inducing migraine than before, the teen slowly walked into his second period. English. Now this class was the one Liev had high hopes for. He slumped into a desk in the middle of the room, other students around him gathered in small groups and talked amongst themselves. Leaning back in his chair, Liev cracked his back and gave a yawn. It did nothing to dispel the worry in his gut.

(Last post for today)

Surge was in a different classroom for his 2nd period English class, it was a nice change of pace for him since he didn't have to take as much intensive notes here. Back when he was still in the States he grew up with alot of classic literature and history, many boarding schools required it.

Without a beat of sweat the class was over and he breezed right through it. The same could be said for all the other classes he had until lunch came around the hour. He started making his way towards the school yard with that slow-and-steady pace card again.

The door to the classroom opened slowly and quietly and a girl slipped into the room sneakily, praying she wasn't late for English again, or if she was; that the teacher wouldn't notice her. But it would be sort of impossible not to miss her with her long, black hair that was twisted into horns on her head and even her bright pink and blue bangs with matching town thigh highs. With silence, she sat in the empty seat by Liev and pulled her headphones off, which were playing a rather loud Japanese rock song

Holding in his laughter, Liev watched the obviously late girl try to be incognito. He leaned in close, and, with a chuckle in his tone, said, "That was completely inconspicuous." His lips twitch into a smile, suppressing his snicker.

No one had really talked to Milek in his math class, though there were snickers of "stupid" and "so slow in the head" that he hadn't missed when trying to verbally answer questions when the teacher called on him. Bullies were everywhere, he supposed. But it was okay now. He had a friend, and that thought kept his barely there smile in place. Soon the bell rang, and it was time to go to lunch. Milek quickly gathered his things and left the room, hoping to see Niles and... his brother. Liev! He'd completely forgotten to text him all day!

Jumping in slight shock from being spoken to, Ibuki turns to Liev, smiling away. "No offense to the teacher, but I don't think she would be able to spot me even if I was two feet in front of her, yeah?" She rested her head on her hand and stared at the front of the room. "Yesterday, I wore my headphones during the whole entire class. She couldn't tell." Ibuki then leaned back in her seat, arms up in the air as she stretched comfortably in the squeaky chair.

"Sweet," Liev gave a crooked smile at the girl and leaned back into his own chair. "Now I don't have to worry about being on time." He sighed out a laugh. "I'm Liev, by the way. What's your name?"

"Ibuki," the girl answered and held out her hand with the striped scrunchie on it, aware that it was the polite thing to do when meeting a person. Ibuki gave a light smile, her three lips piercings glistening from the lighting in the room.
