You people don't even have sunlight. The entire world you know of is cloaked in dreary damp greys. Your guys' best bathroom probably looks like ones in our gas stations.

Wow thanks for the racist reply.

Not racist, hilariously nationalist. All sorts of races live in the UK as well as in the US. He was speaking, with much wit, about how the stereotypical weather is in the UK.

If the OP doesn't have a writing job at cracked or somewhere similar, I would be horrifically surprised. Excellent piece of art, Leth.

ps. We all love the UK. Especially lately, Misfits is friggin hilarious, not to mention all those new seasons of THE DOCTOR.

Yes, I know about my own country's weather and population. I know that it wasn't racist but I couldn't remember the correct term for some reason so I just wrote the one everybody knows.

TL;DR
But public bathrooms really make me sad TT^TT
No me gusta.
I always think they're dirty.
Cleaning regularly (instead of the beginning of the day and the end of the day) would be nice.
But it's really not the janitors/custodians fault.

The fault goes to the public who use the bathrooms and can't respect the fact that there are other users D:
We should teach public restroom etiquette in school (sad truth).

I don't think any amount or type of teaching will change the minds of people hellbent on making the bathroom disgusting for other users. They are beyond both reason and redemption. Some bathrooms would have been cleaner being used by monkeys than by human beings. The humans act much the same way except their stools are larger and they make every effort to avoid using each fixture for its intended purpose. With monkeys there is at least the off chance, however slim, that a poop they throw will make it into a toilet....

The very worse bathrooms are ones you find at parks.

Good luck finding someone to fund all this. And here's a tip: try going before you go somewhere! Like at home. If you're traveling, and you can't stand the airport bathroom or rest stop bathroom, suck it up! Unless it's super disgusting like a port-a-potty, it's not that big a deal. I never crap in public bathrooms though-- that's nasty. And if you need to find a bathroom like home, go to the nearest fancy hotel and use one of their restrooms. A wonderful experience guaranteed. Just do your job, wash your hands, and try to help the people in poverty if you can, because this problem isn't really a big deal. It's a nice "solution", but there are bigger problems in the world.

I appreciate that you think of my toilet humor as art, and it's funny you should mention art because like many artists, I'm solely supported by subsidized college housing and loving parents who'd rather me don a hardhat and stand at the receiving end of precisely delicate survey equipment. Oh, and we do love the U.K. We crack wise about you guys to hide deep-seated insecurities about our tasteless accents- the latter of which we make up for with food.

You're from Santa Rosa? Oh my God, this is awesome! I'm from there!

Rohnert Park, predominantly. I recently moved to Santa Rosa though.
Pleased to meet you, neighbor ^^

Dude, I used to hang out there all the time! Have you been to Russian River Ale Works yet?

Me too lol! Nah, I don't drink anymore. I was definitely a fan of the micro-brewed ales and beers when I did though.
I feel privileged to drink where I did, at times. But I'm also very much more so happy to not drink anymore xD

Oh, but this is a wonderful time for drinking! As I'm sure you're aware, Sierra Nevada is letting its celebration ale out of the silos along side other tasty tasty Christmas drinks. This year, give the gift of falling off the wagon and stumbling along side your friends, slurring Christmas carols, and glowing red with fermented glee. If you do, you might just see me, falling out the non-existent windows at Ale Works- my beer, in defiance of physical laws, remaining completely vertical in my hand.

Yes. I agree, those were some of my favorite brews after all. But unfortunately mind-altering substances of any sort lead me down a very dark path, as has been proved before. So I find that I'm a much better well-rounded and level individual when I don't partake in such festivities. I can understand the draw though and enjoyment. But not for me and I'm perfectly ok with that fact today ^-^
