The manga is a bit dragging along at the moment. Its not fit for an endless work like One Piece...
Storywise I hope the author will wrapp it up, opening a change for the anime to receive a proper ending.

It just take forever to update.I don't think the Author dragged the story. One piece is the master of dragging out arcs despite it being good
either way I'm sure there is no other season or reboot for Claymore nomatter how much we want it

When it comes to season 2...that would be imposible...the anime was amazing but they made many alteration from the manga so it would be too hard to make the continuation of the story...season 2 is imposible but restarting the anime based on the manga is possible..just like what happens in FMA Alchemist and FMA Brotherhood...

I've wanted a remake forever, but Raki kinda ruined some of it for me, but that's besides the point... I doubt it will get animated since I don't think the original anime even did that well.

Raki becomes really cool though , though i guess since a remake/season 2 is out of the question most people won't get to see his awesomeness

I would sacrifice the lot of you for a remake. One of my favorite series.

Oh my god I really hope they do this.

I really want to see the Awakened beings animated, especially Isley's new awakened form, the animation for that would be so fucking badass.

Let's hope another studio takes up the challenge and deliver us what we want.

Everyone always says you can't make S2 Claymore without "rebooting" S1. Hogwash. Yes it ended differently than the manga but with more than enough ambiguity. There are many creative ways to put the story back on track with minimal disruption to the post-time skip story.

Frankly I'd rather have an S2 than demand they both redo S1 AND do S2. Claymore isn't nearly popular enough to convince a studio to invest that much.

They don't need to "reboot" season 1. Just redo the last few episodes. The anime is pretty much 1:1 with the manga until Raki/Priscilla/Isley show up during the battle of the north...they also fight the Lion guy in the exact same manner EXCEPT all the other awakened beings don't just randomly go away for no reason. The other claymores are all fighting them WHILE Clare is fighting the lion(Rigaldo).

People have been trying to defend the anime ending by saying sometimes anime explore different paths than the manga...but the problem is, these paths are almost ALWAYS way worse and make less sense than the manga, since it wasn't the originally intended ending by the author. Claymore's ending is a good example of this, as the ending really makes no sense whatsoever with the rest of the anime.

Example 1: Clare randomly forgiving Priscilla when her ENTIRE REASON FOR LIVING has been to kill Priscilla. They try to pass it off as her "love for Raki" giving her better reason for living, but it's retarded because letting Priscilla live makes no sense because she is an INSANELY HUGE danger to everyone. Where the manga is at now currently does a MUCH better job with this whole situation.

Example 2: The awakened army just randomly leaving because Rigaldo shows up and never coming back. This is literally the most retarded thing i've ever seen. Why would an army EVER abandon their general??? This makes absolutely no sense. The army not coming back to finish them off AFTER RIGALDO IS KILLED makes amazingly even less sense. Isley just watching Priscilla almost get murdered makes no sense. Isley being there and just leaving makes no sense. Nothing in the anime ending makes sense, and its painfully obviously out of place with the rest of the anime.

WELL...Considering how the Graphic Novel (or manga) itself has not ended yet...I'd say there is still a chance. In fact, the GN 25 is slated to come out this November... you can purchase it from RightStuf :
http://www.rightstuf.com/1-800-338-6827/catalogmgr/th9v6SJaP=DPwir4fD/browse/item/102662/4/0/0.

And in other news I heard that there would be perhaps 26 of them? Anyways, whatever the case clearly Viz Media thinks they are worth their time. So Hopefully that can still translate into a show. Anways, there it is

I doubt the Madhouse guys will want to continue Claymore. Don't know what other animation studios think, though.

I really don't think we'll get a season 2. But, what we really should hope for is a a studio that wants to reboot the series.
