Hello. I'm looking to upgrade from a 720p TV to a 1080p TV. I found a Samsung 1080p LED TV that is a smart TV. Will this product work with the CR app for Samsung TVs? Here is the link (you'll have to copy/paste): http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN32EH5300-32-Inch-1080p-Smart/dp/B0074FGNJ6/ref=psdc117_t1_B0071O4ETQ_B0074FGNJ6

Also, does the CR app for Samsung support up to 1080p playback, or only up to 720p like iOS and Android?

The list of compatible devices per Samsung's own website:
http://www.samsung.com/us/appstore/app/G00005284943-compatible#LED%20TV

The do list the UN32EH5300FXZA. I am not certain if those extra letters are critical or not. Based on what was stated in one of the Amazon reviews, it apparently is a code for the country it is sold in.

I have this TV and yes, it works just fine (I got it due to Cruchyroll and Amazon Prime both being available for it) streaming Cruchyroll at 720p...I have had some stuttering and download issues with Crunchyroll at 1080p but I don't think it's the TV as the AP and FoxNow (my weekly Sleepy Hollow fix now) come through fine at 1080. I just keep CR set to 720 and there's no issues, honestly I can't see much of a difference though on my screen between the 2 settings but that's just me.

If you've never had a Samsung Smart TV before prepare yourself for the odd "Dance of the Aps" that will sometimes occur on the screen as they change around "featured" apps and the disappearance of apps that they no longer support.

(The FXZA is indeed the country code)

Oh yes one other thing to warn you about with this TV, should you have to pause something on the CR ap make sure you aren't paused more than 5 minutes, that seems to be the magic time limit at which the stream is cut off. It will play after you restart it but it will hit you with a "connection lost" alert after a few minutes. It does not seem to suffer from the out of synch sound issue that plagues my older Samsung Bluray unit.
