So... I stopped watching Naruto Shippuden a while ago, now that I want to start watching it again, I tried looking for the place where I left, in the end I wasn't sure so I decided to start the whole thing again, so I added it to my queue, but it wants me to watch it from the latest episode I clicked "play" :/ not from episode 1, hopefully I made myself clear

I don't think there's a way to completely clear your watch history (unless that's something customer support can do for you), but to achieve the effect you want, if I understand you correctly (restart watching from episode one, and not have the queue show the latest episode), you can simply start watching episode 1 (or whatever episode you want to "restart" from, and when you finish, your queue should advance to episode 2 (or whatever the next episode is after the one you watched).

The episodes you watched previously will still show the orange bar under them if you look at the episode list, indicating that you watched them, but if you're just selecting from your queue you don't need to worry about that--it should keep advancing based on your most recently watched episode.

Does that make sense?

Currently you have few options...

1) nuke your entire history here" /home/history
2) manually go through and play the first few seconds of every episode you already watched to "reset" them one at a time.

History control has had several suggested paths already, especially because people do want to rewatch a series, but not lose the rest of their history. My own personal suggestion in this thread: /forumtopic-814747/suggestion-history#44073683 included making it be just like the queue so you could control it by series and drop the series you wanted to watch again.

Well, if you really want to, you could set your history for every episode of a specific series by doing something like this:

This would have all of the episodes still in your history, but it will set it to the beginning of each episode. Then you can simply start watching from the first episode like you did the first time.

How would one go about executing code such as that (assuming one is to replace "ajax" with the actual show title)?

If you run that code in the javascript console of your browser while on the desired show page, it will work. Ajax isn't replaced by anything. Also, it will freeze the page while it runs, especially for larger shows.

Well, now I'm bummed. Your code worked perfectly to reset the browser player (and interestingly, gave me an ice cream cone at the same time), but apparently the Roku keeps a watch history independently of what CR has stored, even though the browser player is aware of where I left off even in the middle of an episode on the Roku, so unless I want to do a factory reset, re-enter all my other access codes, and lose all the progress markers on all the series I'm currently watching, I'm still back to having to remember to drop down to play from start. No biggie, I guess, since the Roku doesn't autoplay (yet), but now I'm more curious than ever about what all features the upcoming Roku rewrite will have. It's pretty unlikely that a series reset is part of it though. Would be a nice thing to have.

It is just insanely broken system in that regard. I erased my history and it also erased my queue. Forever grateful for messing all of my bookmarks on my shows. Thanks for the heads up asharka
