Every time I read about these little love stories I can't help but think there's something wrong with me. I can find a guy attractive, enjoy talking to him, etc... but I never feel that indescribable "thing" that people would call love. Probably my worst trait is my instinct to lash out hatefully at people who say they love me

Maybe one of these days I'll get to see what all the love is about. Until then, I really have to calm myself down.

Aww..wish I could help I personally like my women sweet, kind and with a soft voice. It is irresistible to me, but there are plenty of guys that love the tsandre (spelling) type but like you said maybe you can catch more bee's with honey(niceness).

Yep. It was the reverse, however. I wasn't interested in her back then but now that we don't talk anymore, I miss her

Yea, well maybe you will see her again.

Too young to know what exactly I wanted, and too lost to achieve any of those in the proper manner. I guess, what I'm trying to say is that sometimes, meeting someone you thought was wonderful ends up becoming the opposite when you're not ready. Age is not exactly the determinant of "young". What I mean is that, sometimes you think you're ready, but when faced with the actually moments when you have to work on it to become a relationship, perhaps you'll end up being too scared and just try to run away. Although, what's worse is that the person you might end up falling infatuated with won't try and comfort you and instead highlight your immaturity and blame you for everything that went wrong. It's something that happens in some people's life--that you hold on to that chance that you'll work things out, but the other person doesn't give you the comfort of knowing if it will ever happen and you end up falling too deep into worries that eventually you lose confidence in yourself and whatever you have left.

You mean outside of when I'm broke? Yeah plenty.

Moral of life. Trust your instincts. That gut feeling will give better long term results than not. If you think it'll lead to problems then something was wrong even before your involvement and you're there to iron out the wrinkles.

I guess I'm going through this now. I lust for this one girl who desired me two years ago, but one year ago I tried to tell her how I feel in a failed attempt after realizing she had a crush on me. (Basically I ended up running away and curling up in a ball and smashing my head against a wall after she uttered one word to what I said. ) I never found out how she felt,or even saw/heard about her after that. So now I just wonder, and think about her sometimes saying to myself; 'If only I was who I am now when I was there.' Well, now I'm just a irregular closet-pervert high school student who wants to be better than what he is. (PS. Sorry for the post.)
