Well if you live in an urban area, then I think that you should stick with something more modern. If you live out of town or on the outskirts then this car would be great. It's got the look of a classic but should be able to handle the road well. If you're up for it then you could buy one?

I'm not going to drive this in an urban city, with traffic and parallel parkings.

There's only one place I want to take this ride:

ROAD TRIP!!!

I'm at A,
and I need to get to B,
and a car solves it.
Done.

The car itself is ok as long if it's manual and doesn't fall into pieces. If it's old it's easier to repair it myself. Even an idiot can repair old cars as long if they have the right parts and tools. But I've got better things to do than spend the rest of my days repairing an old piece of shit.

Not a fan. I prefer a more modern and sleek look to my car. But if it has all the functions and a perfectly good stereo system with a USB and multiple-CD changer, I'll drive it and like it.

I just don't want another car that drives like my old Volvo: You practically have to depress the brake pedal a full 10 inches before the car even begins to slow down and the acceleration was super slow.

I had a 72 SS El Camino in high school along with a 68 SS 396 Chevelle. I really miss my ElCo it was blue with white stripes. Chevrolet was going to release a new El Camino style vehicle a few years ago but the economy tanked and away that went along with the Pontiac brand.

actually cars in the 70's were getting into the 30 mpgs and were surprisingly fuel efficient problem is that gas company were making less money after the oil crisis in 76 while nixon was in office which led to them purposefully lowering the fuel economy
