Yep, it was emailed to me, so it should be in your e-mail inbox. If it's not there, u may want to check your spam folder.

I feel like I have been lied to because there was no time limit stated in the news article, and the news clip had not been taken down. I was going to buy the anime service and become a paid subscriber but after this deception. I am sorry to say that Crunchyroll is going to have a very hard time getting any money from me until I can trust that I am not going to be taken for a ride.
While I do agree that they should remove the news article from being displayed on the front page of the site, I wouldn't take it that far by calling them deceptive, as if they literally had ill intentions towards us. I've been decently active on these forums for about a year now, and I don't get the sense that the CR staff purposely tries to rile us up by mistakes that can be found here and there. Like any company, they are not perfect, so they may do things that may rub off on us the wrong way, but even then, I wouldn't for a second, call them out as trying to deceive us in any way.

Well, the deal has been over for about a day, so if u visit the link to the deal now, it's back to regular price so that's why it seems like it's expensive since that £89, I believe, is the regular cost for paying the regular monthly fee 12 times.

I understand your logic, but I actually think that there was something wrong now.

Although the sale had ended the page advertising the sale, with the advertised price was still active.

I could see the US version saying $49.99
and the UK version saying £89

If I check my own personal regular renewal page, I can renew for £69.99

Which would mean the "sale" price was more than the regular price

Hi nice to talk to you. I never said it was intentional and I highly respect that any for profit company's first objective is to make money. It is also unreasonable to expect anybody either person or company to be perfect. My problem is that when anyone advertizes a sale/discount it is good company policy and perfectly reasonable to assume that it is in effect until either a stated time on the sign that it expires or the sign that has the sale price is taken down. I recently dealt with a company that had made an error on the stated price of a product but to keep me as a customer they gave me the price on the sign.
Now I don't expect Cruncyroll to do that, I am just saying it is good customer relations. All I want is an apology and we will try to do better for our customers.

Have a nice day and sorry for the double post I am new to these forums.
