Okay, so I'm currently subscribed to the monthly anime service, and this is my question. I plan on buying the year long Black Friday anime membership, by doing this, does my plan automatically change to yearly?

Like, should I cancel my monthly first? Will it just add 12 months to my current subscription, and charge me the regular fee as it is now, or what?

TL;DR
What is the best way to go about doing this. I want the yearly membership deal, and don't want to pay monthly on top of it in which it would just be stacking 12 months on top of my regular subscription.

I just did this, and when you purchase the annual you almost immediately get an email from Paypal or whoever is processing your monthly payments that Crunchyroll has suspended them. So pretty seamless!

Just verifying what rhos stated, which is it should automatically upgrade your account to a yearly renewal.

Alright, so I went ahead with the purchase, and it lists 2 right now. The year being pre-paid and they month being active.

I'm under the assumption that the monthly one will just vanish after this last period ends. Hate to keep asking for all this verification, I just want to keep on the safe side of things. I still think rhos statement is valid to what I'm doing, though I am paying directly by credit card and not Paypal.

Not a problem, it should end though.
IF by some glitch it manages to charge twice, (It really shouldn't, I don't think I've even heard of that happening before) just contact support right away and it will be fixed.
