Any one else disappointed that it is much more then last year?
2013 Black Friday is $69.99. 2012 Black Friday was $49.95

Was really looking forward to it this year.

the anime membership is for 49.99 and the all access is $69.99 (plus a $15 store credit). So almost the same price in value.

You also can't forget that they've added the Manga to CR now, so that's probably part of it.

I'm not debating on whether it is cheaper then the year round pricing or that it is cheaper to get anime-only sub. I'm just saying its not as good of a deal as last year. That's where the disappointment comes in

I'll try to explain in more detail;
The cost difference between 2012 and 2013 Black Friday deal for the All-Access sub is a 40% increase for 2013. ($49.95 vs $69.99)
The $15 store credit is only for crunchyroll and I would not subtract it from the cost.

Also disappointed in the sale.
Dont even mention Manga, have you looked at the list?

Attack on titan you can't even start at Volume 1.
it starts on Chapter 46 and I don't even know where that is.

Many other mangas are like that, starts off somewhere in the middle, no way of starting from the beginning.
There are better free sites for manga, so this isn't really a bonus for me.

Comparative to last year, I paid $50 for drama and anime, now I'm paying $53 for just anime, MORE MONEY, for LESS CONTENT.

I am a little disappointed, but eh. It's still a good deal. CR doesn't have a lot of manga right now, but that will surely change within the year. Hopefully, they'll add more titles with full backlogs to make my purchase really worth it. For now, I'm content with re-reading Space Brothers.

The anime year membership being $50 (same as last year for All-Access) is kind of a kick in the balls, though.

Prices are going up everywhere. I've learned to deal with it. Not as good of a deal as previous years, yet still cheaper than regular price. It's not like you're only saving $1-$2.

I'll be saving $30 with the promo price for All Access, so I'm content.

I'm really not sure if CR just bumped their prices as a whole or what. I noticed the 12month Anime membership being listed as $49.99 after a 40% discount, when earlier in the year it was regular price at $59.99 for a year.

Have prices been raises recently or something? Is it really going to cost $83.40 to have a yearly membership now just for the Anime side?

No, the anime only is $60 a year. the non-discounted price is a comparison to if you used single month sub for a whole year.
Same goes with the all-access. It's only comparing the single month price plan for a whole year rather then showing the discount you would get for the normal year long sub.

Year long priced at:

All-Access
Normal: $99.99
Black Friday: $69.99

Anime Only
Normal: $59.99
Black Friday: $49.99

Well, they are continuing to add more content so the price increase probably reflecting that added cost. Plus we're talking about a $20 difference which is only $1.66 increase per month.

If you plan to use the crunchyroll store at all the deal is really only $5 more than last year or you could always just go for the anime only deal.

Pretty sure most people were happy with last year's deal just because it was cheaper than a normal yearly anime sub.

I didn't touch dramas and have little interest in the current manga selection. So right now, it's effectively paying $49.99 for the same thing I've always used and an option to pay slightly more for manga and a store credit.

I'm especially disappointed, of course we all expected the sale to be the same as last year,
But then again, CrunchyRoll has grown so much since last year's Black Friday.
It would make sense for it to be more expensive, but, guess I'll have to throw them my wallet this year too :)
