I have a question regarding this app:

So I recently bought a Samsung UN32EH5300FXZA and downloaded the SmartHub app for CR, I also have a premium account. When I go to watch a video, the video doesn't seem to load (the video seems to be stuck at pause with no video time loaded) yet the orange streaming bar is half-full. Can anyone help?

Are you watching on a Wired or Wi Fi connection?

(apologies for the delay in response, we answer much faster via email.)

Wi-Fi.

I can actually get the PS3 app of CR to work, but not the Samsung SmartTV app.

Interesting....
Can you try a wired connection to see if that does anything?
How about unlink and relink the Device?

I tried with a wired connection, reset my modem, uninstalled and reinstalled the CR app for Samsung Smart TVs, as well as reset the TV's power source.

All for naught. :(

Also worth mentioning is that all my other video streaming Samsung TV apps work fine. I'm also still capable of running the Crunchyroll app from my PS3 that is hooked into the Samsung TV just fine.

i was having a similar problem with my samsung smart tv app, and it was a DNS related problem.

in my router i use specified DNS servers and cruncyroll works ok on pc and android smartphone with these settings, but my smart tv was completely unable to load crunchyroll app, it was stuck on loading screen forever... so i change the DNS on the TV using che Google ones (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) and magically the crunchyroll app load almost instantly when i open it.

i can't really understand why the app on smart tv can't load with specified DNS servers....

Can you try the DNS change on the router that worked for the prior poster?

Not at this time. In Android and Apple phones and tablets you have to use a separate web browser app. On Roku or other such players without a web app, you'll need to use your PC.

I recently bought a Samsung Smart TV for Christmas, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to pause, fast forward or fast back while watching any anime and it totally sucks. I have this remote.

I found the dumb remote that comes with Samsung smart tvs , easier to use with Crunchyroll as the Crunchyroll app, is not voice controlled.
