I looked and didn't see any other post.

I just finished watching it for the first time, and i just wanted to start a small thread on how great Wolf Children was and how emotionally wrecked i am now.

thanks

The movie was fantastic. I watched it once on Tuesday when it got to my house, and kinda moped around the rest of the day. Then, my whole family watched it on Thanksgiving. Of course, having seen it, I wasn't as affected by it, but got watch about half my family cry. It was great.

But yeah, the movie was fantastic. I loved the feel from start to finish. It was so relaxed, but there was so much going on under the surface....

Wondeful movie! Saw it in the theatre over a year ago, bought the Bluray. My kids love it too though they do not yet understand why it makes their Dad cry...

Great movie imo that explores growing up and taking care of a family as a single mother with struggles with added elements of fantasy. I reviewed the movie when it was popular earlier this year and I definitely plan on rewatching this again sometimes in the future.

After watching Wolf Children, I was spontaneously tearing up for about 3 hours. It was a beautiful masterpiece!

Oh man, words can't describe how much I liked this movie. I first watched it at a viewing during an anime convention and everyone was applauding and/or crying when it was done. Great plot, presentation and the character development was amazing. I just now bought a physical copy.

After watching it alone, I kinda wished I had watched it during the Youmacon screening, but I already had my copy on pre-order.

While I enjoyed the movie, I don't think it affected me as much as Hosoda's previous movies, Summer Wars and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

So would you guys recommend buying it on DVD? It's going to be released in my country 14 days from tomorrow.

Pretty sure there is a thread for this one already, made by Stark. But you'll have to search for the japanese name.

Oh that thread has been closed

I knew Madhouse was great, but just look what they can do with a near perfect script like this to work with. This is a masterpiece that rivals Ghibli's best work like Grave and Spirited Away. The only negative I have is that
All in all, I can say I had a good time watching the movie and it gave me "the feels" and that's the most important thing that matters.

yes YES! So much yes!

Sorry, I know this is an old thread, but I just watched this movie two days ago and I'm still an emotional mess.
