I want to watch some freakin epic action anime I've already seen attack on titan, bleach, naruto, onepiece,
Anyone has any suggestions plz and thank you(has to be on CR)

Hi! Just a note that this thread is about improving the forums. To get recommendations about what other epic action anime CR has to offer, please post in the Recommend Me an Anime thread (it's stickied near the top of the Anime forum).

If you have some anime in mind that CR doesn't have that you want to suggest they get, then you, as a Premium Member, can do so in the What series ... would you like to see on CR thread in the Premium Members Group forum.

Until there is, you can use google's search features...

miGneto's posts

meygaera's posts

Edit, so that I don't double-post.

I would like to see HTML-like {table} {\table}, {li} {\li} elements added to the BB code here. You can do columnsets, but that is very awkward to construct tables properly when there are line-wrapped cells or when you have several columns (see Loreen's /forumtopic-804615/show-discussion-index thread), and you have to really work to get the widths to fit and display with a minimum of line spacing.

Also others have mentioned the Spoiler labels... There is just a "Spoiler" label, it would be nice to be able to specify some word like "Manga" or other arbitrary things like that rather than to get flack if you don't add text to explain whether it is just an episode comment or something like that.

I use Beardfist's extension with Chrome, so I personally have no issues now with following threads and getting subscription-like notifications, but not everyone is willing to use Chrome, so it might be nice to have some kind of native thread subscription feature.

I made a similar thread two months ago:
http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-819595/-tug-of-war

It's a counting game but users have been using it as a chat thread since I created it. It's best to have our old chat feature back to avoid quote pyramids and other unnecessary issues imo.

I guess I'm the only one that likes quote pyramids. As long as they're spoiler. I like stalking conversations.

I can't find "general>Japanese" forum when I choose English language.
If I choose Japanese language, only Japanese forum is displayed.
I want all forums to be displayed.

I don't like forum rules that are more there to "nitpick" than to protect users. I think moderation powers should be used to resolve conflicts and egregious rule breaking like porn links, spam, hate speech, etc. The vast majority of what's going on in these forums is extreme topic consolidation, which sort of sucks because a lot of users don't like to be forced to post in mega threads. I'm just going to copy/paste most of a PM I had replied with to one of the mods recently when asked about my general views on this:

I'll admit that my ideas on deletion are probably too extreme. But those are my thoughts anyway!

*edit*
Just for reference, this is the initial thread that had stemmed my conversation with a mod about these policies:

I know it's a lot to ask for, but It would be nice to have the chat feature back again.

I'm gonna agree with the forum post history. That would be immensely useful. Google is a workaround, but it'd be nice to have a set feature on CR.

Also, I'm sorry, but the gifs. Please stop filling the transparency!

Here are the rules for closing a thread:
Duplicates --This is to stop user's from creating the same type of thread. No one wants to see 100 threads created regarding One Piece.
Spam/advertisement -- Absolutely no spam or advertisement threads.
Random threads that do not press discussion. --So we don't have threads with the title "Omg" and the opening post ":D"
Hate threads --Creating a thread to bully others or target someone will get locked immediately.
Threads that have gone off-topic to a point of no return. --This is mainly due to the thread being reported too many times, and having moderators in there too often deleting flame posts.
If a moderator feels you've created a thread for the sole purpose of trolling.

Any other reason is not part of the forum rules. If a moderator locks your thread that you feel hasn't broken any of these rules, you can ask for your thread to be unlocked. (Always ask nicely though. Being rude will get you no where.)

Edit:
I did some digging and this whole "6 month inactivity" thing needs to stop. I'll talk to the moderators. Thanks.

This is something I approved and will be something we won't have to monitor in the future.

Concur. Our system (With locking / closing / no deletion) is weird and something that I want to refine once new changes are rolled out.

I think this has been mentioned before, but being able to "subscribe" to a thread so you are notified whenever somebody posts in it would be really useful

A list of all your own forum posts because...

1.) It would be nice to be able to track all of your own posts, comments, etc.

2.) Sometimes I happen to forget where and what I posted on, from the previous night (I mean, I just need to know, where and when I looked like a complete idiot).

3.) Even if it is public, I think it would be better for the forums overall.
Being able to click on a user and seeing all posts and comments by them will probably make people think twice about posting stupid stuff.

4.) But mostly, #2.

I agree whole-heartedly
