Haha funny...cause if you actually looked at my profile.
You'd know that this isn't the girl in the picture.
I'm her boyfriend, and I can speak from experience.
Fixing, modifying cars, repair work on cars, w/e it may be.
I'm a in-training technician and also work at a independent shop...
So yeah, I do have experience..

Yep, I work at a shop.
I currently work at D&N auto repair in Lincoln, NE.
Just your basic everyday shop, owned by family friend so I've got the chance to get in there and work for awhile. While there, I do your basic grunt work...preventative maintanane work, brake work, suspension work and electrical diagnosis (such as starting and charging problems).
I have recently been offered a job at my friend from school, Dyno Dan's.
Where he deals with mainly modifications and engine performance tuning.
I specialize in brakes and suspension as well as fuel delivery and ignition timing.

I plan to, once out of school, get into the European market.
Work with either Mercedes or Audi.
My friend got accepted into the Audi program, and is making 80K a year, so I'm leaning more towards that.

Take it as a lie all you want, aha, I'm not here to impress a person.
I'm just here to talk about what I like. And impart my knowledge on what I know, from experience, the best I can. As everyone else is. So take it as you may man.

Haha yeah. My friend, along with the job offer, he is sent to hawaii for some time to learn all about Audi, and Audi foots the bill, then he can work at any of there dealerships wherever he wants.
Yeah its all good. I'm just surprised no ones given me crap for it before. Aha. But yeah, glad we got this cleared, and I know what you mean...I hate all the false information on here, so I try to correct it to the best of my knowledge...all these false information could have someone end up doing something not normally recommended to their car, and thats just a world of trouble then...

Aha yeah no kidding.
Speaking of which, man I saw a Mercedes-Benz the other day driving around, A HUGE spoiler and a fart can exhaust setup...
Man...it was horrendous.
So I noticed you said you went to UTI, how is it? That was one of my choices for school, I was considering the campus in Texas.

lol i went to the one in rancho cucamonga..lol

idk how the car scene is over there...but in socal its huggee soo theres soo many people wanting to get into automotive...(imo bad choice in socal) it was very cool the professors (or the techs were very awesome people), they teach from ground up on the car... if you want to go to learn, id say go for it, but if you want to getinto like a career...i would say no...but as for restoration (as you were stating earlier) i think has a better chance at making money than what i was planning on doing

Aha yeah, I was keeping UTI as an open option.
Yeah, I'd probably enroll just for the learning experience...aha I hope to start working and making money first. But thanks for the feedback. Sounds like it'd be fun.

hmmm well on tight turns if you turn to sharp without braking you will flip... Also if you slow down and take a turn normally, you have to wait till your facing the right way to accelerate, but with drifting you can accelerate before your actually done with the turn. Not that i know any of this first hand, this is just what i observed

you seem to be thinking of people who drift on the street.. no the way a track bends is more smooth, they are not 90 degree angels and even on a street, you wouldnt be in the right hand lane also, you initate the drift way before you get to the corner or else you will likely hurt yourself/cause an accident.

ATTENTION KIDS, DONT STREET RACE!!

yah dont be street racing people!!! or else i will come to haunt you
haha but i dont think he meant street racing, and actually your wrong at that...sometimes there are very sharp turns at track...you would be suprised here in cali (long beach formula d the first initiation point was a almost 90 degree turn) but the insides were smoothed in if you get what im saying..
