honestly in my opinion since REAL drifting is for show (smoke, angle, speed) awd thus cannot take the same angle, speed, smoke and continue the drift (manjee or long connectors) i guess it can technically be called a drift for rally but i dont see it as a drift like a rwd, but like i said its my opinion on what it should/shouldnt be called drifting

yah honestly my goal is to be an f1 driver aka formula 1/ ralliest...but in socal there arent many places you can actually go to rally...haha that is why i dislike sti's and evos, i have nothing against them, but not my thing on pavement, why pay so much to understeer but gotta give subaru props for trying to copy the attesa with there dccd control on the sti's

atleast for subarus its a lot more fun to drive than an evo since the evos are all ecu work(some of you guys will know what this means)
subaru >mitsu any day
(also in socal id say 90% are A**HOLES and ricers)
and every evo i have seen (going down the same street) has tried racing and they have bagged on me/my car
and 100% of the cars that tried have lost and i give them a thumbsup and they flip me off..(whats up with that)
(im not saying my cars the fastest )

sorry to any evo guys on this forum

DCCD isn't a copy of ATTESA. DCCD can be manually adjusted by the driver. Well, the automatic mode works much like ATTESA, but it's not exactly ATTESA.

The EVO is simply a computer on wheels. Just like the new GT-R, it's not the driver that drives, it's the car/computer. That RUINS THE FUN.....

Drifting is only faster in conditions where traction is low (slick conditions) and/or if the corner is extremely tight.

To even do a REAL drift, you need a RWD or AWD car. A FWD car will not work for REAL drifting. FWDs include Civics, Integras, Neons, and almost every passenger car in existance.....

Drift on close-course or in the middle of no where is ok. People who drift in public should get their licenses revoked.

Yeah, I agree.
I've seen idiot public drifters run into innocent bystanders because they decided it would be cool to show off their "mad" skills on in a school zone.
There was snow on the ground, and so the asshole decided he'd like to impress some elementary school kids with his drifting, almost hit like a young girl. Barely being able to avoid her, he decides to speed up while flipping her off. Ugh...scumbag.

TO drift or not to drift tat is the question....still as a competitive racer....(with my next door neighboor whos like 60) i got one of ma Koean budds to teach me how to drift an which one i prefer.............none!!!! i mean u cant prefer one over the other..at one corner u might need to drift to tackle it at another slowing down an taking it clean may be the right thing to do so its better to do both buh hey i jus do it for fun still the rush u get from driftin is like none other buh ye....thats jus ma opinion...

i think drifting is a waste of rubber. sure its cool, but i wouldnt do it often, tires dont come cheap anymore.

having the skills would be nice though.
