Let me know if a thread like this one exist.

I do that countless of times. I have to go somewhere tomorrow from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm but I just refuse to go to sleep(sometimes I can't). I don't fall asleep where I'll be going yet still I haven't gotten a good eight hours of sleep. Eventually I will go to sleep for maybe two hours, but get up and go about my day. Back in college, I wouldn't sleep for two whole days and still go to school regardless. My sleeping habit were always poor and it just get worst. My mom will eventually come in my room early in the morning asking me "why didn't you go to sleep?". My answer is always "I'm just not tired". I do get to my destination a little late but that is the obvious for not sleeping.

What do you think? Do you stay up late as well regardless of the fact you have to be somewhere or do something important?

Explain in your very own opinion.

Oh that happens to me too.....except I dont wake up...LOLLLLL...which is not good.....when I sleep late I always tell myself to go back to sleep....so I never wake up. But, if I have something really important to do the next day....ill wake up.

I do this all the time, even if I have to get up at 7 am to catch the bus to class. I tend not to go to sleep till around 5 am because quite simply I don't feel like sleeping. Besides, I always have caffeine in my system which keeps me awake. So no sleep for me.

I sometimes do that too. It is very bad to do that though even I can't help it. When I do go to sleep, I can't because I wanna stay up later/can't sleep.

I drink coffee too and yet it barely does some justice. Yet eating food just makes it work in a hurry.

Yep. All the time. Class at 8am. Stay up watching anime until about 1. I can handle it.

What if you go to sleep at like 3...or 4....or do you just stay up all day if you don't sleep and its past 4 in the morning? I hate staying up all day...I get so lightheaded and everthing feels like a dream haha!

Never intentionally. I get really stressed when I know I have to be somewhere at a certain time, which makes it very hard for me to go to sleep.

I am right now. Have to do a 2-page essay, but I don't want to and even though I know I'm going to end up doing it anyway.... just no. I get up at 4:30 AM each morning, by the way.

Haha Melatonin works for me, but like you said...a lot of times I just don't want to sleep even though I know I can fall asleep. Its just because there are so many things I want to do haha! Play games or watch movies, drama, anime... but ya I think I need to discipline myself more =P I spoil myself too much =(.

Oh yeah, gotta be up at 6 am Tomorrow. But i'll be damned if I go to bed before 2:30 am LOL. And this is completely normal for me. Not to mention im on my feet all day welding and hauling heavy pieces of metal around from 8 in the morning to 5:30 in the afternoon and it dosnt phase me, yet. LOL!
