Every single night! I have to get up every day at 6am yet I still find myself up until midnight, 1am, later, ect... I can function on little sleep thankfully but I know it may someday catch up to me.

I stayed up until around midnight or after on the night before my Cross Country State meet.

I always tell myself I will go to sleep early but then I end up in the early hours of the morning before actually going to sleep

I do it more than I should, but I'm an extremely deep sleeper. I can sleep through multiple alarms going off for hours on end. I actually found out the hard way that my clock alarm goes off for 2 hours straight before automatically turning itself off. Usually once I pass that 2AM threshold is when it gets the worst.

I did find that eliminating the energy drinks has allowed me to wake up easier. At least hearing my alarm at least and not letting a 9 minute snooze session turn into a 90 minute snooze session.

I did stay up all night once to make sure I wasn't late for a 5K. I was trying to score bonus points with this girl I knew, so I agreed to do the 5K literally the day before, hadn't trained at all, stayed up literally all night playing Call of Duty to try to fight the sleep, and went to run in 40 degree weather with like 15MPH winds. I did the race, but basically collapsed on my couch the moment I got home and slept for like 8 hours lol.

What do you think? Do you stay up late as well regardless of the fact you have to be somewhere or do something important?

I'm always staying up late, i go to work at roughly 10AM, so i need to be up at 8AM to prepare.
Normally i end up going to bed at 3AM on average. So -5 Hours sleep, this is NOT efficient for me but that is because when i was a little younger i would sleep for roughly 14 hours a go but would be awake for 26-29Hours a go. My sleeping schedule has always sucked ever since i tried a "Super-Man Sleeping Pattern", in a sense i do believe it fucked my body clock up, but my body has adapted to the lack of sleep and now i'm able to confidently go to my local gym regardless of the bags under my eyes and also get punched in the face and not tell if its because i'm tired or have been given a black eye.

Sometimes I do. It depends on my reason for staying up, which is usually homework, finishing a tv show or anime (often with family), or a rare night out with friends. I also have evening classes that I take and work early in the morning.

If you are asking if i can not sleep even tho i know i have to be up early than yes it happens to me.
If you however ask if i decide not to go to sleep even tho i have early morning appointments than the answer is a no.I am not that irresponsible.

I used to do this all the time. like weeks on end. To solve the issue, I just stopped sleeping. I trained myself (really? trained? lol) so I can knock out at 5-6am, and be up at 8. I take a short nap before dinner, and I'm good for the rest of the night. I think it might be the 4 gallons of coffee I drink a day..... nah, couldn't be. Can't be late for stuff, when you literally have 20 hours a day to work with.

I'll accept not being able to sleep.

I work overnights so I purposely stay up until about 4am on my days off. I made sure I got enough sleep in college though; I never pulled all-nighters.
