I'm an extremely light sleeper, on more than one occasion I've woken up to someone dropping something as small as a pen on a linoleum floor. If it's partly cloudy and it's during the day then a passing cloud is enough. Slight changes in light, sound, temperature all have a decent chance. That said, I don't sleep much, on average a few hours a night. Doesn't help that I've spent so many days and weekends in my life typing away trying to catch up to deadlines or if inspiration suddenly strikes.

Over the years, I wouldn't be too surprised if I've been awake longer than most people my around my age. My conditions kept me awake back then, both external and internal. Since my house was basically KO'd by bad weather last year, I have less external factors to worry about, so I've managed to get a little bit closer to a usual amount of sleep.

Yep. It's happening right now. Studying my ass off for two tests and I'll end up taking a late shower and going to bed at 1AM. I can predict my future. Can't wait until college. I'm going to need a lot of coffee.

All the time, and hating myself for it the next day.

I also am an insomniac, and someone who has problems falling asleep, so I tend to want to do things until I feel tired, which can be til very late.

Also, I hate stopping what I am doing to go to bed, but once I am there, I don't want to get out XD

So went to see the specialist yesterday...he denied the evidence presented by the sleep study :/

Only thing he said he believes is that it's not epilepsy. I go to my regular doc next week, he'll tell me what's going on :/

Never heard of it.

It's meant for suppressing serotonin and dopamine. Basically a reuptake inhibitor.

almost every night i only get maybe 3-2 hours sleep and other times none at all and i feel terrible and full of anxiety when i have to go to work, arghh such a terrible feeling i cant imagine using my brain to study at school/university in this state.

In that state i'm really quite and hardly want to open my mouth to talk to anybody.
