Don't care if this is the right section or not but just a general warning to all that when you cancel your subscription they will cheat you out of time you already payed for. SO if you cancel your subscription they will shutdown your premium instantly even thought you have X days till you were supposed to pay again.

gsgrego, this is a billing default. If you want to cancel your subscription with time left, you can use the contact us link listed below. Emails take priority, and people get credited the rest of their subscription.

If you bring it up to customer service, we will take care of you.

and I'll make sure this goes into the correct section.

That's exactly what happened to me like 20 minutes after I ordered my Black Friday Premium subscription.

I tried canceling the renewal but it just canceled the entire subscription. I emailed support and they got it fixed but now I'm trying to figure out how we use the $15 store credit?

Is it emailed as a coupon code? I never received it probably because of the premature cancellation.

Already did that. After the fact. Still feel scammed and cheated out of my money though and will definitely not be buying again at this point.

And maybe instead of moving it to where no one will see it so you can keep cheating people out of their cash and instead you should make it so this cannot ever happen again.

As a moderator, I do not have customer account privileges, but in all honesty, if you really feel cheated out of your money, contacting customer service and raising another grievance works much better than a rant thread about how upset you are about your account. I'll ask Bjaker to stop in, and we're not out to cheat you, but you can only take me at face value.

not exactly sure where to put that in. I'll make sure to find out.

You may not be doing it unpurpose but it is allowed to happen. It should either be setup better, explained better or fixed. Otherwise it doesn't matter if you are trying to do it or not you are still letting it slide.

It should be simple for CR to understand, but let me spell it out in terms that should be impossible to misunderstand.

Users. Want. To. Be. Able. To. Cancel. Automatic. Renewal. Without. Cancelling. A. Current. Subscription.

Why is that not default? Makes no sense.

Gsgrego, you're overreacting, lol. Csgod is even explaining and telling you to take it up with the support, yet you go on about scamming? Wat.

In the same post you ask why that is not default you ask why I am making a big deal of it.

Let me put it even more bluntly. Because 1. other people should know about it 2. making a deal out of it is the only way these days to get something out of it and 3. no one is ever happy when they get cheated out of something they have already paid for.

Lastly I have already taken it up with support. By the time that happens I am guessing that It will magically be the day my premium was going to end and I get scammed still.

But he explained it to you. Take it up with support. No one is scamming you. Not sure why you're acting like someone stole your money, when you've been given options to restore them.

Stop being such a dramaqueen, gosh.

Because it is my money?

If you read one of my previous posts.

It does not matter if they are doing this purposely or not it should be fixed and not allowed to happen in the first place and if they are not going to fix the actual problem they are letting it happen which still means they are scamming people by hoping they don't complain.

People like you are the most useless kind. You get angry with people because they bring something up like you expect things to change by just sitting around watching tv.

Last time I looked through the "Cancel Membership Renewal" options, it clearly stated the premium status would be revoked immediately. Has this changed, or are people just not reading anymore?

Wait what...

So if you cancel your automatic renewal on any day except right before it expires you lose what you've paid for?
The premium access doesn't just keep going until the amount you've purchased runs out.

So if I was to say cancel the yearly automatic renewal the day after it renewed, I would just lose 359 days worth of premium access?

@Alfihar Correct,

Now if you don't want that to happen.

You'd have to contact Customer Support and ask them to cancel your own account with the money that was "yours" just so yo can keep the 359 days. Pretty much no cruise control way to this route, only a stick shift.
