Are you happy?

I WAS happy....until the fall came with a massive paycut. Then my cat got so sick I spent $300+, then ended up having to give her away because I couldn't afford to pay for other/more procedures to try to save her. To make matters worse the new owner won't even tell me if she lived or died (heartless b*tch) leaving me with no closure. I’m also sicker, and three family members have been diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. Top it off with another family member that had a serious stroke that now I have to play a major role in his care.....Not much time for me anymore. Truthfully, if I only had my kitty back I'd be happy despite everything .....I can't afford to get another cat (I'm not emotionally ready anyway) either. My heart still hurts.

it's crazy how important an animal really becomes to their owner. I didn't know how much my dog meant to me until her health started going down hill. Sorry about your cat and all of the other stuff going. I can relate to the animal thing.

Right now, I am content. I'm wrapping up my Bachelors, things at my job are fine, my immediate family is fine, I got enough money to fix up my car abit - like new tires or a battery.

I think I'll be really or generally happy when I find another job (I'm really considering juggling 2 jobs to pay off tuition and save additional money). Since I will be wrapping up school, if I find a job or internship in my field that will help give me experience, then I can get a higher paying job and actually start living a better life. Not saying my current life is bad, I just want to have my own place.

I'm very happy with life right now. Although life isn't perfect and isn't always easy, you can always find/think of something to be thankful and happy of, even if it may seem insignificant....at least that's how I see things

I'm a unemployed adult male with no girlfriend, and haven't had one for close to a decade. I am not very happy at the moment.

I think that true happiness, joy and stuff are little moments in your life that mean something if it makes any sense, I think that being thankful is different from being happy, and its really admirable to be thankful but is not the same thing as being happy I guess. I think you cant be happy all the time from my point of view, for example, if you go to disneyland once every year or two, you enjoy it and feel really happy, but if you go to disneyland EVERY DAY for an entire year, you get really tired and annoyed, also I think that happiness are moments in life when you achieve something that really matters to you and the more you care for those goals the longer your happiness will be such as marriage and stuff

I am happy when I laugh.
I laugh sometimes when I watch stand up comedy.
But I am currently not watching stand up comedy.
I am happy when I have sex.
But I am currently not having sex.
So it is safe to assume that I am not happy.
But it does not mean that I am sad.
Because I am sad when I am in pain.
And I am currently not in pain.
