^ do you mean middle eastern food? :)

Yes, I've eaten it, and it's quite delicious. The most popular is well known as the "Shawarma". Think of it like a beef burrito with vegetables and a special hot sauce. :)

They also have stranger dishes, like "shalingna" and "humus". I forgot the name of this dish, but it's Ox Brain. Tastes somewhat like egg, with a strange texture. Most of these are eaten with pita. Very good food, and very exotic as well.

^^^ They used to make fun of "Shawarma" in the Philippines. They said it was made of rat's meat, but not really.

I've tried sweet rice before, and it was reeeeeeeally really super sweet to the point that it was hard to eat (hey, I'm asian, I eat those regular kinda rice), but my teacher (who doesn't eat rice on a regular basis) said that they were really good.

Yes, they are. But much of the kebabs we know are westernized. The original kebabs have meat (traditionally lamb, if I'm not mistaken, but beef is now substituted in it), onion bulbs, and tomato slices.

I cook/eat a lot of Greek food. Outside of that I like hummus/baba ganoush with some pita.
