The relays are Artificially built black holes and worm holes are natural, don't know how you got those mixed up.

Light can't escape gravity because it has mass.

There's no such thing as artificial black hole.

Actually light has no mass, it is affected by gravity because it has energy and that is why it can be pulled into a black hole.

I am under the impression that on the other side of a black hole is an entrance to another reality. Something that is powerful enough to tear a hole into the universe must, therefore, tear into something else, right?

There is no such thing as nothing. Many scientists, physicists, and cosmologists agree with that. Everything is made of something, and even the places of the universe unreachable by humans are made of something. There scientifically can't be such a thing as nothing. Therefore, it only seems logical that a black hole must lead to something, whether it be a portal to another part of space, or even a portal to another reality entirely (although obviously, anything passing through the black hole would completely be torn from existence itself). No one knows, but I hope we find out sometime, somehow.

A black hole is a mass so dense that it bends the mass around it. Our own planet does that, only not to the same extent. It's referred to as a black hole, not because it's a hole, or because it's black, but because its gravity is so strong that not even light can escape it. It's referencing the fact that even though you shine a light on a black surface you won't see a difference; the surface will remain black. If you're in a completely black room and turn on a light, nothing but you will appear in the black room; you won't see the floor, the ceiling or the walls. If you want to know what a black hole is, or what it's presence would be like, take the gravity of the earth and multiply it by millions upon millions of times, and then imagine what would happen to you if you were in its vicinity. Your mass would've been crushed, melted, vaporized, instantly, and become one with its mass.

I welcome anyone who thinks that a black hole is a rift in space time to "travel through" one. I'm sure their journey will be one of many wonders.

Lol are you trolling?

You go in, you die.
That's it.

I always thought black holes were a singularity. As in, just a point in space. Nothing on the other side since there isn't an "other side". It's just all gets concentrated into a single point of mass.

But hey, I'm thick.

Draw a sphere of arbitrary size with the center of your black hole as the origin of the sphere. Pick a point on the sphere. Draw a line through the point on the sphere and the origin of the sphere. There will be a point on the sphere opposite the point you chose, which the line also passes through. That is the other side. So for a single point, there are an infinite number of other sides to pick from.

Your pikachu is adorable.

For reference, I clearly stated that, despite whatever I, or anyone else, believes is through the black hole, It would not matter much considering that whatever enters it (planet or human) is completely torn from existence. I never said that someone could pass through a black hole successfully.
