You do know what Hetalia is about right?
Although the history is a bit off, the stereotypes are indeed there.
Did you attempt to try and watch Code Geass R2?

Izaya maybe great but is still....

Just saying with my own opinion.

Brother's Conflict. (Although, maybe "hate" would be too strong a word...)
I like watching romance anime sometimes, so I somehow came across this show on Hulu. I was okay with the first few episodes, but as time went on, it seemed like the brothers just randomly fell in love with the girl for no apparent reason. This combined with the nagging feeling that some of the older brothers shouldn't be attracted to this one 16-year-old girl, and the fact that I could never understand why her pet hamster (or whatever it is) could talk, just made the show impossible for me to enjoy. I only finished it in the hope that SOMETHING would happen (plot progression, etc.), but instead it gave an open-ended ending.
Also, I didn't like the girl. Too much like Yui from Diabolik Lovers--no backbone.

Which part of Brothers Conflict is "highly regarded"?

Well, Hetalia is just an exaggerated history of political events, primarily centered around World War II, right? And I don't mind the stereotyping and all, it was mostly the voices. I'm sort of a racist person, anyway, so it wasn't that big of a deal... and America was pretty spot-on, to be honest. But I highlighted Italy because his voice was probably the worst besides Austria.

I didn't attempt R2 because I've found that sequels/second-seasons tend to be even worse than the first. Should I watch it?

And Izaya is... he's... well... he's Izaya. Certainly not the greatest character, nor is he the most original, but... he's... he's different in terms of my approach. I find him to be not how he is portrayed. It's hard to explain. (Why are we talking about Izaya? O.o)

Aw, I reread my post [about the animes I hate and why] and I sound like a really mean-spirited hater. Sorry 'bout that!

I posted here before but I finally caught up with Attack on Titan. Um why is it good? Like nothing about it is that great. The characters have not back story and by the time they do get a back story, they are either dead or I just didn't care at that point. The whole Titan Shifting then was WAY too convenient and was even worse when everyone started doing it. Plus I've never been a fan of winey main characters, that are only main characters because of who their dad is. I'm not the biggest fan of the art style but it doesn't really bother me that much.
.
The worst part of it is that humanity gave up. After building the walls, they didn't use their 100 year window to improve their technology. Swords and a Spiderman belt? Really? That's how you're going to fight these things? I know the time period they are in doesn't allow them to build a Gundam. But they could have thought of something. They clearly have a lot of steel and iron, gunpowder, oil and engines. Make a 50 meter killing machine. Don't just say "Hey we're behind a wall, let's not use the our brains and just hope nothing ever happens."
In all honesty I liked the beginning and really wanted it to be good, but it's turning into another Evangelion.

I do not like the Rurouni Kenshin anime. It has way too many fillers and it doesnt even have the real ending.

Have you seen this OVA? I think this might be the real ending that you want!
It was such a sad story - made me cry a few times throughout the two episodes

to talk about the stuff of recent.

Attack on titan

I liked it as it was very good, animation was nice, action was plentiful. But thats it. The story wasn't that great (does anyone remember the key that Erin's father gave him a key to a trunk in their house, that contains a secret, and didnt he get a shot? what is it i wonder)

And the naming really irks me. 巨人 (kyojin) is giant in japanese. And oh boy the disappointment i had when "attack on titan" wasn't actually a Sci-fi anime tale of Earths Forces launching an assault on Jupiter's moon Titan.
Plus all the hype surrounding was suffocating.

Kill La Kill
While the animation isn't that great compared to many animes airing this year, i understand its appeal to the watchers who enjoy the action packed series, the "nostalgia" surrounding the character design and art style. But when i look the anime it reminds me of the really bad stuff that was produced yesteryear... And the hype is suffocating.
But i can accept this as my loss since i have no justifiable evidence to back up my irrational hate for it.

And the upcoming Space Dandy.
Someone mind telling me whats "Dandy" about the series or the main character Dandy? As First of all his character design invokes the image of your stereotypical anime delinquent/punk (like in Gokusen), nor when i look at him he doesn't exude such dandiness or class.
Another of those irrational hate i have with not much to back up, and the hype of the series is probably overstating the series. Some call it one of the "saviors" to anime. I wont doubt it will be fun to watch with the visuals and gags it will be bound to bring, but i doubt it will be "the savior" when it comes to storytelling (shin sekai yori is the of recent memory)

Maybe let's not throw the word hate around... but Attack on Titan I'm sorry, just didn't work for me. There's so much about it that doesn't work- from the medieval world that has everyone dressed for World War I to the giant naked people walking around that look more like the typical Wal-Mart shoppers than scary monsters. And the constant, endless screaming and hysteria constantly being shoved in my face... I forgave the first few episodes but after 13 really just had enough of the depressing atmosphere, the overgrown naked people, and being screamed at and I just gave up.

I honestly must be one the only few people who thought Shingeki no Kyojin was just another Greek Mythology related series. SnK is nothing more than a steampunk series to be honest.

Just saying my opinion.

Akira.

I have the uber-awesome special edition DVD of it, and that was the first time I watched it. It put me to sleep. I found it incredibly boring.

There are others, like the Dragon Balls (I thought the original was okay. The others were... bad), Naruto, One Piece, and the like. But, Akira may just be the Holy Grail of anime, and I just don't like it.

Elfen Lied and Clannad. Clannad wasn't really BAD, just boring. Elfen Lied on the other hand, just... what the hell? The characters were weak and the plot was stupid and predictable and the amount of fan service that they tried to pass off as meaningful was just laughable.

Fairy Tail - Too slow paced for me with a little bit too much fan service and not enough character development.
