yeah... Crunchyroll got the licenses for Germany (sadly....)

now i am forced to buy a premium account here, and that is not possible if you do not have one of these Credit-Cards (that nobody uses).

Paypal - sends me back to crunchyroll (maybe a Paypal Error?)

all other Payments do not Work in Germany.

Don´t you think, that you should add payments that people in Germany actually can use, if you want to get Customers here?

PS: yes, im very angry about the situation with crunchyroll and the Licenses for Germany - at least the Fansubbers had a working Paypal.

Ah well, lots of people use credit cards. Anyway, you can buy a prepaid VISA credit card so your problem should be solved.

PayPal used to work, but is currently experiencing issues with all German banks, and that's an issue that has to be worked out by those two groups.

Credit cards are extremely common in the United States, so I'm not sure why they aren't widely used in Germany.

There can definitely be cultural differences. My understanding is that credit cards aren't that widely used in Japan (although they certainly exist there).

Meanwhile, I'm one of those people that doesn't carry cash, unless I know I'm going to have to deal with a vending machine.

Well, from what I've read, most ATMs in Japan aren't nearly as convenient as those in the U.S., and are generally only accessible when the business they are located within is opened, and very few, if any, are ever available 24/7.

I'm pretty much the same way, though I do try to carry a 20 around just in case someone else is running out to get lunch during work.

Credit cards are widely used too here in Germany. Only the little children without a job cannot receive one

You may be able to purchase a gift membership for yourself using PayPal, but any recurring payments were not working when this thread was last active.
