Kill la Kill is starting to become more than a decent way to kill some time.

I don't disagree. I found Panty and Stocking VASTLY superior in the English cast. I believe it was the combination of the art work/style and the vulgarity of the English language with made it better than the Japanese.

So I do understand, but I probably won't watch Berserk in English any time soon though.

You don't need to. But the blooper reel I still suggest, it's frikin bloopers man. Did you not grow up on Jackie Chan or something?

Like Jackie chan adventures?

For me it was One Piece, at first when I started to watch the series (recommended by a friend) there was I think 30 episodes out. I was taken back by the animation style and silliness of it at times but it soon grew on me and now its my favorite long running series (anime/live action shows).

Currently, Hitman Reborn is growing on me. Most people like to throw around "the start wasn't so great" for many anime, but this is the only anime I've found that to be true for. The was literally close to nothing to keep your interest for the first 20 episodes, but the plot began to develop and become good.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, although that was more of a changing tastes thing. Same with Serial Experiments Lain, which made a very good impression the first time I saw it; I wasn't used to anime enough at the time to get past the animation style. Then there's the ones I just had to muscle through a couple episodes for, like Durarara!!, Canaan, The Twelve Kingdoms, and Chihayafuru. I'd also dropped Monster and Psycho-Pass before revisiting them.

Another odd one for me is Fate/Zero. I've never actually seen the whole thing; I've seen all the episodes, but just in fits and chunks that got pieced together later. It's good, I just never felt compelled to keep watching it so I dropped it a lot.

I'm sad that you don't like Berserk AK.

One Piece.

I was initially turned off because I wasn't a fan of the art style, but now it's one of my favorites.

I have the series on Blu-ray. I've only watched a few episodes and just couldn't get into it. I think I'll try watching again and hopefully this time around I'll end up liking it.

I grew to like some of the animes that came out this year, flowers of evil, log horizon, but 99% of the time out of the 300 animes i have seen, i grow to hate anime more than grow to like it.

Psycho-Pass.... Seriously. I drop it AT 10 MINs in first episode for two months after art style ticked me off.(don't know why still after learning to love it). But the Dominator brought me around and back I came and about 3 episodes in I was hooked and on a fun ride to the end.
