The Trinity Blood community has started an online petition in an attempt to get this manga picked up by a publisher. They are looking to get at least a 1000 signatures.

As most know, when TokyoPop shut its offices in 2011, many titles including Trinity Blood were abandoned and the licenses were then freed. But like the many other manga in its predicament, Trinity Blood is an older series and so has been forgotten and not picked up by another publisher.

Fans like myself who were able to get translated copies of the manga and light novels are now left with only a handful of volumes and incomplete sets. The idea of never being able to read a complete version of this beloved story is extremely sad. Which is why we need help!

If you are a fan of Trinity Blood, or even just a fan of older manga being reintroduced, translated, and published, here is your chance to help! Please sign the petition below by following the link and adding your eSignature (I promise it takes about 30 seconds at most):

Thank you for your help in bringing back one of my favorite (and first) manga stories!

It's rather saddening that the author passed away before he could finish the series.

Yes, it is unfortunate the original author passed away, but his friend is finishing the series for him. The last release of the manga in Japan for Volume 16 was in October - I believe it is still on hiatus at the moment.

"After Yoshida's death on July 15, 2004, Kentaro Yasui, his friend and the author of Ragnarok novels, stepped in to complete the remaining novels. Yasui also aided in completing the manga, with illustrations by Kiyo Kujō." (from Wikipedia)
