Why couldn't this have come out in its own time instead of travelling to the future and being released in our time?

I'm just saying, speaking as one of the minority of folks here old enough to remember that show, I have some trouble appreciating modern 3D games. If it had been an NES platformer I'd have played it. Now, I'm a weirdo, so I'm sure there are other 80s kids who completely disagree with me, but doesn't anyone see where I'm coming from here?

And before anyone points it out, yes, I'm aware that the series predates the NES. But an Apple II version would be just a smidgen too primitive for my taste.

Its because this game was made for the rebooted second season airing right now in French speaking countries. It's not based off the original season from the 80s.

A PC version is also being made after a successful Kickstarter.
