Stonewolf I can relate to you, I have a lot of time now that I am a recent graduate. Waiting on processing for my state license to practice as an Occupational therapist in CA. I love having free time, I am able to work out and just do as I please. But the down side is once I am done I am done haha. The good thing is I can easily entertain myself

I wish I had more free time. x_x As it stands, I work 7 hours five days a week, and on most of those days, I lose another five hours or so because we only have one car and I have to chauffeur people and get dropped off early for work. I feel like it's all I can do to use my free time to unwind. I don't have any time to be productive anymore, like I did while I was in school or working part-time. I have things I want to write, draw, and design, and because of my wage-slaving, I don't get to do any of it except on my days off (when I don't have to buy groceries or do laundry/cleaning). I need a job that I can walk or get the bus to; it would give me a sizeable fifteen+ extra hours per week.

There's nothing "pro" about "free-time" in my opinion. When a person has too much free time, like the saying goes, "you've got too much time on your hands", you start doing/thinking stupid things.

People who are constantly busy (not too busy where it leads to stress and greying of hairs) often lead happier and more meaningful life.

The problem in the society I'm living in though, is that people are too focused on their own self and self-achievements, rather than focusing on forming meaningful relationships (whether it be friends or social groups), and this society is so focused on being "productive" rather than being creative... people are brainwashed into doing 9-5 jobs repeatedly over and over like a food can in a factory.

We're living in such a stupid world without any real meaning of friendships or any real creativity or artistic purpose--that is why anime is such an attractive thing to most of us; because it's actually focused on unrealistic ideals of friendship and adventures which this society doesn't endorse.

So if I happen to have more free time than someone else, I mostly end up alone because everyone around me is so busy doing their own thing and never make any real commitment to spending time with me.
Which leads to my feeling of loneliness and the need to develop activities that I can do by myself which is utterly despairing.

Up: More time to draw.
Down: I get bored quickly.

Up: Time to do whatever you want.
Down: Lose track of time and then things fall behind schedule.

I think its pretty simple if you do not know what to do with all your free time than you prolly just lack the funds to do a lot of stuff.
If you have enough money you can do whatever you want and will not get bored and it does not even need to be something expansive.
For example i retired with 30 and just enjoyed my life for the last few years reading a lot getting into anime and playing a lot of games. However i started to feel a bit bored so i got me a couple Tortoise babys and have a Bearded dragon Baby on the way.
I always wanted them but never had the time now i do and so i got them the whole setup was only about 4k$ and it entertains me a great deal (Baby Tortoises are so freaking cute!!!)
4k isn't really much money but lets say you have lots of free time but could not spend 4k to entertain you than i think you should fill out your free time with work so that you can enjoy free time later on in your life.

Edit. The 4 k are just an example it could be 20$ for a Cinema visit or 50k for a new car bottom line is if you have nothing to do and you are bored earn money so you can afford to enjoy the free time.

If you get to do whatever you want and still get bored, you might want to rethink the things you're doing ^.^

I have 3 months break. It's not fun to be honest, i guess because i don't have many people to share this empty time with.
It's only fun when there is people to share times with, i feel like it's just wasting away.

I can relate. I usually kill my time chatting on the forums or watching anime/playing games.

Aha, before i only used crunchyroll to watch anime but ever since i finished my finals. Everyone just left on vacation and what not. I'm pretty much lonely as heck. As you can see i just joined crunchyroll, hence my CR points lul.
Pretty much what you do. Oh wells, i hope i'll find some company or something to want to do. Sadly i feel too negative about free time now, i wish i was back in school or studying or whatever.
