If you have one, which one do you have? Which phone do you think is better? Pros and cons?

I'd recommend an Android smartphone (Galaxy S4).
You can sideload apps, transfer files via Bluetooth, use S-Beam and other NFC based features such as "Tap & Pay".
You will get more bang for your buck.
Also, the Galaxy S4's specs blow away the iPhone 5S.

I chose the iPhone 5s because of its reliability, superior app support, and because I'm comfortable in the Apple ecosystem. It's ironic that you can get Amazon Instant Video on iPhone but not on Android phones. Also, iOS is far better optimized than Android so even though an Android device may have better specs on paper, the end user experience on the iOS will blow Android away. But if you are getting the 5s, the 64-bit chip blows away anything on Androids, possibly for a couple years. Your iPhone will hold a much better resale value as well after 2 years I sold my 2 1/2 year old iPhone 4 for $200 on eBay back in October. Also, the fingerprint sensor is really convenient for people who are too lazy to punch in their code but still want the security. The negative is the iPhone 5s screen size is too small and iOS can be pretty restrictive.

Galaxy S4 has imo the perfect screen size. I don't like the Samsung version of Android- feels a bit restrictive, which kind of defeats the purpose of having an Android device. However, you have the option of installing a custom ROM. It's not hard but some people might not feel comfortable tinkering. Also, you will not get the latest Android versions such as 4.4 immediately, you will have to wait. The same goes for newer Android versions in the future as well. You will always be behind. This is because Samsung releases many phones frequently and they lag when it comes to supporting their products. Samsung seems to be heading in its own direction and trying to distinguish itself from the true Android environment. The features on the S4 are gimmicky and not practical for everyday usage. The best Android phone is Nexus 5. It gives you the best, perfect screen size, purest Android experience and the pricing is amazing. The only negative is if you have Verizon Wireless then Nexus 5 doesn't support it.

How about saving your money, cutting off the information overload, and using a regular phone like a sane human being?

I'll get the 5s, the app store and app permissions are better. Also I don't really want to walk around with a phablet in my pocket.

Uh...app permissions for Apple phones are not necessarily better. Throughout the time that I've had an Android phone (3+ years) I've been able to find plenty of apps that don't require crazy permissions. There are also ways around permissions if the app you really want to use requires crazy requirements.

Also, the S4 isn't a phablet; that's reserved more for the Note line of phones.

I've had a Samsung Galaxy S2 for 2 years now and it was prefect at the start but as time has goin on it has turned to absolute crap. Nothing works and it's so unreliable the only thing it's good for now is calling and camera.

I had the choice between the iPhone 5S or Sasmung Galaxy S4 earlier this year and I chose iPhone without even thinking. I can't wait to get it. Samsung has been bothering me for too long now.

GS4 hands down. I've been an iPhone user for years, but had to upgrade and took a chance on the GS4. BEST DECISION EVER.
