Really liked that finale...man, it came together nicely. Overall, the latter half was much stronger and engrossed me into the story rather than the first half. Nobunaga truly was the destroyer, with Jeanne following him but protecting others and Mitsuhide as the savior.

I was originally giving this 6/10 but i might just give it a 7/10 because i did like the show.

Yeah, that ending was bittersweet, but I'm just glad Jeanne could be happy - and Himiko and the other regalia-users who died probably got reincarnated too, or are floating around in that "heaven" or whatever it was.

Also, look to the left of Jeanne's painting-viewing group; who is that with the blue hair? Who could he be?! LOL

Ep 24 End

Ehhhhhh

EEHHHHHHHHH

At first I was like, ok, Nobunaga is the destroyer and he's being a jerk about it. Oh? Mitsu is going to kill him? I think I might be starting to like this show now. Oh wait. Nobunaga was actually saving them from tools of war and destruction. Eh.

At least da Vinci knew to make a hell of an exit.

The corny ending with them kissing and then "hey, reincarnation? sure why not" was just so bad lol

I tend to not drop shows unless they are horrible on the off chance that they turn out good or is so bad its entertainingly good. But this show was still stuck in between. Some times good, some times bad. The closest comparison I can think of is Valvrave, just so ridiculous it was good. But this show was stuck at medium ridiculous and never went full crazy.

4 out of 10

Would've been lower but hey, the first ED was awesome and this show has its moments that made me think, this is an okay show (ie Caesar and Ichihime)

That was an....interesting finale.

Whoever said everyone but da Vinci dies was SO close to being right.

And then da Vinci dies.....just for the hell of it, I suppose.

Not a horrible series, but it certainly was the weakest show I watched on Sundays in the Winter and Spring.

I can't decide between a 6 or 7/10, though. I mean it got me to watch all 24 episodes, so it can't go lower than a 6, but it is also heavily flawed and at times rather boring, so it can't go higher than 7 for me.

All in all it is a series I'll only suggest to people who like weird mecha series.

I'm interested into watching this show, but as a 14 year old I must ask this question before I watch it. Does it have any sort of nudity? Saw the rating on MAL which concerned me, violence isn't an issue with my parents but nudity is. Greatly appreciated.

The finale was mediocre at best. I couldn't really buy the whole Nobu x Jeanne thing at the end. I mean, seriously, it lacked emotional development from Nobu's end (that really ticks me off).

I wouldn't mind an OVA episode just to see how everyone is doing in their new world. Heck, throw in some comedy if you'd like.

4.5/10

Not really. There is one episode where Jeanne is naked, but all the naughty bits are obscured by beams of light.

I seem to be in the majority when I say that this anime was mediocre but not terrible.

The story wasn't half bad but it certainly was tedious at times, the characters were for the most part likeable, the animation was solid throughout and the OST did it's job without any noteworthy tracks except for the 1st ED and 2nd OP.

All and all there is just a certain charm about this series that makes people keep coming back.

Gets a 7/10 from me.

I will agree with 7/10. The story wasn't that consistent and some episodes made me question why I am watching the show, though it was mostly the earlier episodes doing that, the later episodes were great. At the end, Mitsuhide was given a huge part out of left field, and really him killing Nobunaga didn't sit well with me. While Nobunaga and Jeanne got reborn into the future was nice and very reminescent of old school animes.

Just started yesterday, I finished episode 4. I like it so far. The concept is very unique. Even for Anime. The animation is really well done and so are the character designs.

I really liked this series. From the first episode, I was already hooked. The whole thing was just so interesting, but the ending felt a bit off. I give it a 9/10
