I was wondering if anyone knew what the true symbol for the law of equivalent exchange from Fullmetal Alchemist is (or if there is a symbol for it). I tried to find it by searching around for the answer, but the closest I came to was this I read that it's the human transmutation circle instead of the law of equivalent exchange symbol yet I read the other way around as well. If someone could confirm or tell me what the true symbol is(again if there is one) I would greatly appreciate it.

I was thinking it may be the 'door of truth', but again I'm not sure what exactly is the symbol for the 'Law of equivalent exchange'.

I think the symbol for the "law of equivalent exchange" might just be a circle. every transmutation symbol is drawn within a circle, and those who have seen the "door of truth" and can perform the transmutation "without a circle" still have to clasp their hands together to literally form a circle using their body.

but that's just my own theory based on absolutely no research and 2 seconds of thought.

I figured the Law of Equivalent Exchange was just an overarching principle, and the symbols had to do with the specific type of transmutation you were attempting to accomplish. Kind of like how there are no math equations that ARE a mathematical property (associative, transitive, etc.), just ones that demonstrate or use/rely on it.

I could be wrong though.
