Still enjoying this, but I find myself wondering what awesome Minimum Holder power Boss has (among several others).

Ep 3

Just another day in the city

Looks like we're finally getting towards the good stuff in the plot with more reveals on the characters' pasts and the villain's motivation. I say it's pretty interesting so far.

Well, the villain's monologue almost made me drop the entire show, but I stuck it out and enjoyed the rest of the episode.

Does he want to surpass Nice or save him? Is it the same thing? Why's he so fixated on him? Clearly, there's something in Nice's past in the academy.

Also, Hajime becoming a bigger part of the show soon??? She had a line that seemed to foreshadow increased involvement.

Obviously...Nice was the student prodigy. What a big freaking surprise. Floored me...

Seriously. Hamatora itself has 7 members(I am counting the dude who owns the café they use as their headquarters as a member), and we've only seen 4 of them use their Minimum. I want to see the rest!

I want to see more of Hajime. Nice is a cool character, but Hajime is pretty cute along with the fact that I just want to see what her power is.

I think we'll see her more and likely in an active role soon. On another note, damn:

Frankly, I found most of this episode boring. It's probably because I don't like the characters which is the most important part of a show for me. There are some interesting ideas here, but I'm not willing to stick it out until the end of the season.
Dropped.

Episode 3
Kept thinking about Psycho-Pass while watching this. That one white haired guy reminds me of Makishima and his interaction with Art reminds me of how Makishima and Kougami interacted too.

Surprised Nice was #1 I thought it was going to be the white haired villain.

Same, except I'm dropping this. If that guy is going to be the antagonist then I don't want to watch anymore because that entire scene was cringe-worthy. Probably the dumbest thing I've heard all day. The rest of the show isn't much better, it's pretty much a lackluster version of shows I've seen that are way better than this. Maybe it'll get better but I have more faith in other things.

"Observe the speed limit!" Haha!

Nice themes in this episode. Art's blood runs a little hot though; it makes him look weak.

I just wish the art didn't feel so flat, I still can't get used to that.

Hamatora is still dancing on the drop line for me, but it hasn't fallen off quite yet.

Wow after reading some of the comments above IMO the show got way more intersting with the revelations.I wiil admit it's not a great anime but still watchable!

Seems like a good show with a bad villain. I'm glad others hated that speech bit too, mad annoying ><

The winter season always sucks. Imo, this is the best anime of the season. Which isn't saying much. But, it gives me a Getbackers vibe, the humor is good, the powers are pretty interesting, and the monologue scene wasn't that bad. Their use of color to emphasize parts of it was pretty well done at least.

I'm going to keep watching this. Most everything else in this season is far worse than anything in Hamatora.

Isn't he, though? He demonstrated Minimum aptitude (LOL to the oxymoron there), but didn't actually have a Minimum power.

Chances are he's struggled all his life with jealousy and the disappointment of being capable, but not having a power. So, while I doubt he's really thought as far as killing Minimum Holders, the villain's (just awful) monologue probably hit enough of the truth to get underneath Art's skin.
