Immortal, as long as I can keep my teen body. Also if there are other immortals.

When hugged by the opposite sex you turn into an animal from the Chinese Zodiac .This would have simplified my life immensely.Fruits Basket rocks!

Immortality, of course. Don't even have to think about it. It's barely a curse at all. Sure you watch everything you love wither away and die, but imagine how many things you could achieve in YOUR lifetime. If, for some reason, you die, you could have already mastered swordsmanship, marksmanship, every imaginable form of martial arts, piloted mechs from the future, and become the most knowledgeable polymath ever. I never got why the pair in Mermaid Forest wanted to die so much.

The Fruits Basket curse was always gimmicky to me. Sure it brought out some tear jerking drama in some times, but it got annoying real quick when someone slips or some other "funny" accidents happened. Although that is very inconveniencing. Transforming because of contact with hot/cold water would be easier to manage.

The Excalibur thing is not a curse. It's damnation; It's something anyone would prefer for hell in its stead. I don't imagine the curse lasting long though. Five minutes of that and you'd be wishing for death.

I think people who wish for immortality are nuts... I can't imagine living forever and never dying.

Don't get me wrong... I like my life, but I also love change and new things. After long enough everything would become so boring and repetitive. AND what if you still go senile! I mean if people tend to go senile at 100 what would you be like at 1000! or 1000000000... you would be a mindless vegetable never able to fully die. Not a curse my butt...

I will deal with Excalibur...

I guess I'd pick absolute choice as the least worst. I wouldn't want to live forever, I'd end up wanting to kill Excalibur (only to get the muffins kicked out of me), and I love my hugs so I could never do that. Absolute Choice would SUCK, but I feel like in my case, the other choices would suck more.

Immortality is a curse? I think it would be more of a blessing especially given that I tend to be exceptionally good at pissing people off for fun.

To be immortal provided of course that you could keep your health, your youthful body of say around 18 or so and to always have a sharp mind.

Otherwise immortality wouldn't be worth it if you had to suffer from such health problems as dementia or Alzheimers or other problems which come with old age.

As for # 4, that would be a definite NO GO!

Imagine never being able to have intimate relations with another human of the opposite sex!
That would be the worst possible thing ever!
Because you would be stuck having to do it with the opposite sex of what ever zodiac animal you turn into.

I guess that is one detail they left out in Fruits Basket.
Then again, it's been a long time since I last watched Fruits Basket.

Absolute Choice is a curse where when you are in a situation, you have 2 or occasionally 3 solutions to choose from. This curse was in a recently ended anime: Noucome.

But if I had to choose, Absolute Choice. I don't care if the choices are embarrassing. I would just like to have fun with it.

Thanks for clearing that for me, but what does "Excaliber follows you around everywhere" mean?

I think it's a Soul Eater reference. Never watched it so I don't know. And you're welcome c:
