People always say, "Go and express yourselves!" Although, (for everyone it's different either slightly or drastically), expressing yourself isn't always a walk in the park. To express yourself, you literally have to just be "yourself". That's plainly it. But, with so much peer rejection, or alteration, or the media for example, our inner-selves are shut in a room sometimes.

There are things I wish I could do without the feeling of being self-conscious. Such as, I love Disney music. I'd blast Disney from Pandora on my phone in my apartment, but I'd love to blast it out to the public too. I want to just keep singing and singing, but the public would think I'm a weirdo. Another thing is my overall personality. I'd love to just keep being very, very peppy and that one man who's always "happy", but people think I may be homosexual or get a wrong idea. If you can all catch my drift at what I'm saying?

What are some things you do or love that you wish you could perform out of your sanctums?

I would like to be able to be nude at my leisure. Also laugh when horrible stuff happens and talk about torture and stuff without weird looks.

There are things I wish I could do inside my dungeon... like actually try voice acting on something like Newgrounds or whatever. Alas, shyness is a huge problem.

Without self-consciousness I'd probably just get angry and swear more than I already do. Spending half your work night literally chiseling filth out of water drains while your "partner" eats sandwiches and gets chatty with the section lead about basketball will do that.

Being quiet, people get uncomfortable if you are quiet in social situations, and I don't wanna be chatty and talk about minutiae

Could playing video games alone be a way of expressing yourself?

Edit: If not, then fighting. It's one of the only times I feel like I can be myself.
