Are you thankful person or a person who always seek for more?

Edit: including yourself.

Edit 1/29/14: my biggest apology for misspelling "seek" as "sick" in the title and thanks for keeping this tread alive.

I don't really expect anything from anyone, which always leaves me pleasantly surprised when someone does something for me.

I used to expect a lot from everyone - my love interest, my close friends, my acquaintances, my teachers, strangers ....

But like Pikachu said, I don't really expect anything from anyone these days :)

THIS IS THE WAY TO ROLL. XD

by "sick", do you mean "seek"?... ? not trying to be a grammar cop, but if "seek" is not the word, then I'm totally misinterpreting this thread...

I have to say I'm a person who always seek for more, because evoluationary-wise, humans are animals, and animals are greedy creatures; it's necessary for survival.

But with philosophy and higher intelligence; I suppose I can trick myself into thinking that I have everything, but subconsciously and internally, if I am true to myself, I am always seeking for more... something that can make me feel whole; whether that be through ART, or a whole new experience like ROMANCE.

this is why I'm against Buddhism (and any other religion), even though it's a peaceful religion (seemingly), I don't like that its philosophy is trying to change who we truly are in order to live a happier life. It's unnatural. It's only natural to be ambitious, it's what make our lives meaningful.

I don't need no religion to tell me how to live my life or be happy.

I'm usually content with the minimum. All I am really lacking in my life is someone to love. I don't think that is being greedy or anything, and it isn't like I am desperate just something I'm currently lacking.

I take what I can?? Umm I don't get the question, thankful about what?
I hate people who say they don't expect anything, they are the most frustrating kind
You should be thankful as a rule of thumb and this is not relevant to wanting more.

I always seek for more. It's how we grow. To be thankful, which I presume means contempt, would be the end of growth. But I'm still constantly growing, and learning.

Both. I seek for more, but I'm very appreciative of what I have. Having to choose between "being thankful" and "seeking for more" doesn't equal happiness.

I have more than I need and to strive for wretched excess seems pointless.I'll enjoy what I have.

I'm definitely always sick for more, whenever I get something from someone, I'm already thinking what to ask for next. =w=
