Twin Peaks was a 90's television drama in which the homecoming queen of a small town (Laura Palmer) is murdered and an investigator named Dale Cooper is trying to solve her murder. I am currently just starting the second season. The show was infamous because it was so bizarre. If you haven't heard of Twin Peaks you should probably check it out since it was pretty much the inspiration for all TV crime dramas such as The X-Files, and also inspired a lot of video games.

I'm not sure if I'll keep watching, but I've seen the first episode. To be blunt, I didn't like it very much. This may have just been the first episode, but it was twice as long as a normal episode and still managed to bore me to the point that I couldn't handle it too well. I might try a few episodes if I get around to it, but I'm not sure, it just didn't seem very interesting to me.

I've watched it. I liked it, though there are flaws and things kind of meander off the rails sometimes, and most people (myself included) find it increasingly unsatisfying in the latter part of season two. The parts that are good are so good that you just want it all to be that good, and it's not. Plus we are left on a cliffhanger.

Still, I find David Lynch's work really fascinating, and think this series is worth watching all of (even the Fire Walk With Me movie) just as an experience.

If nothing else, I would recommend someone to watch the show just so they understand all of the inside jokes and fandom lol.

Friggin loved this show. Irony was i got the whole show for a tenner in £s. 1 day deal online.

Family mentioned seeing it along with people saying it inspired alan wake. So i ordered it, sat through the 1st few eps, creeped me out but it was fantastic.
Couldn't stop watching it. Shame how it ended with no conclusion expanded since the series ended. Need to see the film fire walk with me at somepoint, UK version has major flaws with sound missing and no deleted scenes like the usa version. Hope they re-release this or usa import.

Surprised they never made a novel to conclude it for the fans, really surprised at that.

At first impression, I thought the title twin peaks was some sort of porn... lol. But yeah that sounds interesting, I think I'll definitely check it out soon.

I watched it when it first came out. It was definitely weird and different, though entertaining.

I watched it on Netflix about a year ago. It was good and boring at times. Too bad that show never got a finish after season 2, because I would have liked to have seen what happened next with the FBI agent and the evil in the woods.

Watched it. My main draw was because it was written/directed (?) by D. Lynch. The first few episodes honestly didnt hook me, it took a bit for me to get interested. Overall though i would recommend this to everyone. No real wow factor for the series though, although what kept me coming back was Lynch's "strange" style. Very interesting.

I was pretty excited to hear about the new Twin Peaks series coming up in 2016--with David Lynch and Mark Frost teaming up again for it.

Happiness is a bit suppressed by sadness though, since it seems so far away, and it will be on Showtime (a channel I don't/won't pay for), meaning I'll have to wait until after season for it to become available on Amazon.

Oh well, still something to look forward to, and with it being so far off I'll probably forget about it between now and then, and therefore be able to get excited all over again when it's imminent

Who else was pleased to hear this news? I'm curious as to how it will play out.
