Any word on One Piece and Toriko's past episodes?

Hulu. Toriko has been on Hulu since episode 1 and almost all of the One Piece episodes are there as well.

True. But I rather watch it on here in HD with no commercials.

It wasn't just "someone", it was the company they licensed it from announced the streaming arrangements both inside and outside of Japan. Aniplex did the same thing this (Fall) season, announcing titles would be streaming on Crunchyroll a while before Crunchyroll had even started making their announcements for the season.

Permissions in that relationship go one way ~ Crunchyroll has to get their site announcement approved by the licensor, but the licensor doesn't have to get approval from Crunchyroll.

That's interesting, I didn't know that but it makes sense. Thanks for the explanation but it still seems weird that Crunchyroll has to wait for permission to make an announcement about something that has already been announced. I don't know... maybe I'm just overlooking something or just overthinking this... whatever
They're streaming Wake Up, Girls! and thats all that matters to me!!!

Its not just permission to make the announcement ~ the announcement itself is cleared. Those kinds of approvals have been in place since the days of licensing for VHS tapes. It seems likely that some licensors just rubber stamp things, but you never know when some licensor (or original content creator) is going to be a stickler.

I'm so happy! I had resigned myself to never seeing the Mushi-shi special because I thought that the show wasn't popular enough. This is awesome, thank you!

Will there be more anime announcements?

Yes, but not until Monday. At least two are scheduled for that day, per the first message in this thread.

Good job getting ImoCho. My wishlist this coming season would be (in descending order, first being my most looked forward show)...

Nisekoi - I'm usually adverse to reading manga because I prefer to have anime as my first foray to the material, but I just couldn't resist Nisekoi's charm.

Nobunaga the Fool - Satelite is neck in neck with JC Staff as my current favourite studio, and I seem to ALWAYS enjoy their mecha shows

Buddy Complex - won't be as fabulous as VVV, but Sunrise usually have a good track record with me

Mikakunin de Shinkoukei - love arrange marriage stories, don't like much stuff adapted from 4-koma.

Mahou Sensou - I'm hoping this will be less like Kyoukai no Kanata and more like Tokyo Ravens

Witchcraft Works - looks to be another generic harem romcom, but Asami Seto + Kayano Ai is too good to pass up

Any news on Fairy Tail? anyone?

You're in luck, Anime News Network just posted that it'll return in April: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-12-28/fairy-tail-anime-restarts-in-april

It's too early to know if (even though it probably will) be streamed. It may go to Funimation, but like I said, it's too early to say anything yet.

There's one of those going on in the Uk home video anime market right now.

Toei's European site recently announced that the original Dragonball is coming to the UK on DVD courtesy of Manga Entertainment...

Manga hasn't yet made any official announcement, despite people asking about the title for months. There's speculation over here that Manga might be just a little ticked at getting pipped to the post. And they have announced other acquisitions since, so obviously something is holding up their own press release or social media statement.

the Sword Art Online story resumé sounded like some sort of childrens show... Waaah. I want the hair rising excitement and insecure feeling of the whole first season again! ... Guess i'll go rewatch. -^^-

So it's starting. And I'm still catching up this season :(. Ah, so we have same extras, some random romcom and Saki... As for the last one i given up after first season since i have no idea about mahjong.

My list for now:
*Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren
*Seitokai Yakuindomo*
*D-Frag!
*Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha.
*Nisekoi
Of course for europe
I'm counting on you, Cruchy !

And it looks like longer anime with more episodes is becoming more common again. Good.
