Not really a spoiler, but close to one.

It is interesting plot because you know that he usually comes though,
but he has lost a few, enough that the ending is generally a surprise.

I really enjoyed that! It felt like a self contained movie, you didn't need to know about it beforehand to enjoy that story though it also hinted at the first and second season (to come). Very well done, beautiful music, I liked the voice acting, interesting to see an eastern eclipse myth.

I was a bit sad when the first season ended and I wanted more episodes. I was a big fan of how casual and ethereal the series was. I'm so glad that we're getting a second season.

Ah, that special was great. I'm really looking forward to the next season. It originally took me a long time to watch this series because I thought it was going to be really boring, but once I got into it I realized that it was anything but. Sure, the pacing can be slow at times, but they focus a lot on the character building and exploring each unique mushi.

I'm also hoping that he does what I hope he's going to do with that certain item that he had at the end of the special. It'd certainly make my day.

So nice to have Mushishi back, it's been awhile. Too bad we won't get a dubbed version soon, I don't mind too much but Ginko was one of Travis' best roles. He makes Ginko very laid back yet assertive when need be.
Well for the time being I'll catch up on the manga I suppose!

Finally had a chance to sit down and watch this (I was forced to wait for hubby ) and when it was over he turned around and said "wait... that was 45 minutes?" (meaning it went so fast) Needless to say I'm SUPER thrilled it's back and there will be more in the Spring! YAY!

lol I finally get to watch it. finally ....

Pretty good story .Same wonderful feel .

I met Nagahama sensei two times now and he was so personable the last time .he even drew Ginko on my collector box , taking his time , I told him whatever he want to and gave me a big smile.:D

There was one thing I noticed just slightly different in this special. Nakano 's delivery of his lines were different in certain ways . I even went back and watch the series and played it side by side just to listen because I thought I was imagining things

but it didnt matter, i like this anime a lot and wish they rerelease it in Bluray.

Well when the next season comes out (Spring right?).. maybe then there will be discussions? I have the Funimation Save version of Season 1. I missed it the first time around, otherwise I'd have the box set.
