>ALRIGHT, STORY TIME.
>BE COLD AS FUCK OUTSIDE and around 11 o clock at night.
There was this one girl (I don't know all the people that live in my building!) crying, sitting on the floor with all her bags in the lobby of my apartment building (Y'know, the part right next to the security door, and is about the size of a large closet). I walked past her ALL CASUAL ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ, but about halfway through the first flight of stairs, something made me stop and turn around and ask her stuff. It kinda went like:
Meh: "Hey, you waiting for a ride?" *nodding toward the exit*
Her: *stopped crying when I walked in* "Oh, ... yeah heh" *glancing at me very quickly*
Meh: "Oh uh, well there was someone pulling up right behind me, is that them?" *pointing toward car outside with headlights on*
Her: "Oh uh..." *checks* "No, that's not them."
Meh: "Ah.. well, I'm Austin by the way. I'm in 201 if you need anything,"
Her: "Alright, thanks." *genuine smile, I thinks*
>I LEAVE
>About an hour later, after midnight, I feel anxious and curios if she ever got to where she was goin
>Stopped playing games and eating food for one more venture
>So I go back down there in my pajamas
>At the top of the stairs, out of sight
>Oh fuck, she's still there.
Meh: "Hey, how goes it?" (How the fuck do I re-initiate this?)
Her: "Oh hey again. They still aren't here" (Doesn't look like she's been crying since)
Meh: "Well I got time for a story if you wanna hangout somewhere else?" *tryin' be cool*
Her: "I appreciate it, but I don't want to miss them showing up" *full, concise statement*
Meh: "Haha, alright. Take it easy then- and remember 201!"
>Leave

My guess is that she lived in the bottom floor along with her roommates. There was probably a conflict and she left with all her things.
THIS WAS MY ONLY EXPERIENCE FINDING A GIRL CRYING AND IT HAS NO ENDING. I never saw her since~

If She's open to it, I would ask what's wrong, and see if She'd like to talk it Out. Only if She's open to it of course.

Now I chose "Comfort her with a hug and kind words", but that's for girls I know( such as family and friends). If I had a friend/family member and she was crying by all means I would comfort her with a hug and kind words, because I know them and they know me. In this day in time we have to be very careful with what we say and do. If I was to go up and comfort a crying girl I didn't know, I could end up in big trouble. Two possible situations can occur she gets me thrown in jail/sues me for assault or something along those lines or it's all a set up and the moment I go to comfort her some guy comes up and mugs me. There are probably more possible situations, but these were the first two, to come to mind. Now I'm not saying this would happen every time, it's possible it could though. At the most if the girl was some random person I would at least ask if everything is alright or just ignore it. I hope I don't sound like a jerk, but it's sometimes better to be safe than sorry.

When my sister began crying when someone special to her left, I gave her a big hug, wiped the tears off her face, and reassured her that you will see that person again. I would do the same to any other woman.

First I'll ask what's wrong, and then I'll do what I can to help out. Man or woman, I don't care. If you're open to outside help, I'll do my best to help.

I would probably go with the middle one. Cause who doesn't need a hug every now and again? That's the one i see myself doing in

the situation anyways.

I would try to comfort them but it depends on the person if I'm honest with myself. There are some people out there I wouldn't get remotely near enough to hug them.

Speaking as the crying woman, I will try to hide my face and make sure no one notices me crying. I get so embarrassed when ppl see me cry. If I see someone else crying, I will leave her alone b/c I'm sure she's embarrassed about it and wants to be left alone.

By hugging them ........

And then they cry even more.

Usually try talking to her and then hug her.

Just smile.
And flip a coin in my head on whether or not I should care.
